The controls are fairly flighty, and the miss/critical rate mechanic is REALLY not a good thing. Having crits does not offset having misses, even if they have the same chance of occurring. Because you don't know when your crits are coming, it's not like you can strategize around them, so you're going to assume an enemy takes X number of "normal" shots to die anyway. But misses will still screw you over no matter when they happen. Not to mention that in this case, a miss inherently lowers your critical chance beyond the statistical percentage in the formula because any shot that misses automatically can't crit, even if it would have "rolled" crit in the RNG. The controls I can adapt to, but having enemies escape (or crash into me) because I have 5 shots in a row miss when they should have hit is infuriating.

...the game is too easy... combat shotgun x3, some reflect shields... u make shields on, kill some enemy on close range (all 3 shots into him), then run away as soon as shield wears off... and repeat all times. Does not work on mines and rockets, but hey... u can destroy them! BOOOOORING.

for some reason my ship stays at the top of the screen and my keyboard's down arrow won't work. (I can still move side to side). Weird, this doesn't happen on any other games.

i found a new bug.. that is that if u have a low rank emp shield and it only takes like 5 in cost u can then go to options and change too one thats hits much more and needs much more recharge, when u change the emp doesnt go down easy way 2 fast get full emp load

This was the worst game ever! I have a good computer and all liek that. But when i was to close to ground it was going all the way down! And some times it went up. And I could be like a feet from the key board and not touchign any thing and this happend for me!!!!

While the gameplay is well done (i don't mind the miss as much as everyone else seems to), it just gets way too repetitive way too quickly.

Bosses are a joke, even though they are well equiped, 4 "bashing" (bashing into the enmy so you accumulate the weapons in one area) attacks are enough to take the boss of Kuura mission two with my Quadru-grenade launcher

The weapon and shield inventory really annoys me. It is Really badly organized and it's really hard to find the right weapon and browse through them all to see which is best. It's also annoying picking up really basic shields/weapons when your really far into the game. And the whole "redeem" thing ALWAYS gives me something I already own. Inventory defiantly needs a complete redesign

Pretty solid. Counting backwards on some stats and forward on others may not be the best decision. Used two items from the first mission for most of the game; there was no reason not to do so.

Never managed to get a cascade rocket launcher, but the Tripe edge grenade launcher works pretty darn well for everything. With a thor lightning gun, just sit in a corner and it shoots everything for you. Haha.

loved the game, its one of the longest ones, may need to include a shop feature, and like others have said a way to sort the inventory, attack and defence weapons, and attack and defence shields would be nice. xD its great gameplay i really like it. keep up the work 5/5

I feel as though the invintory was hastily done. it would be better if it stored weps and sheild in diferent slots addin the strongest to the top/botom of the list

Not at all really fun. Doesn't give a good enough tutorial, and missing when you hit it? That doesn't make sense. Also seems like a advanced copy of Self Guidance. So not really fun.

good game...WAY too short, only 3 levels. Gave it a 3/5 mostly because the game is way too short. Most of the shields don't seem to do what they say they do as well. Reflecting shields say they reflect the bullets, they don't...all sheilds seem to do the exact same thing....which is fine they stop the bullets, but don't say they reflect if they don't. fix the shields and add about 5-6 more missions (to start) and its an easy 5/5. Fun game otherwise.

nicely done, i like the rpg part.. Also, the recycle thing is nice, but it would be even better if the quality of the item you "redeem" depended more on luck and on the quantity/quality of recycled items (I never got any good items from this)

I don't know what was wrong with the blueshift concept about grinding levels to level up your weapon, but I miss it. There is no love in this game and nothing here to let me come back to this game. It's just a slow side scrolling shooter where you have to: "shoot, get a good weapon and shoot some more."

Quad grenade fragmentation seems to be overpowered, I went through about 10 missions upto the asteroid belt surviving on a combat shotgun x4 and then this thing comes along and, well, it's not looking good for aliens

yeah ok cascade rocket whatever might rip the place to shreds, but not before boredom rips my fingers to another game. and that miss mechanic is usually reserved for random attack, image shooting at bad guys in cod and not scoring hits 'just because they missed'.

I think the 'recycle duplicates' option could be a lot smarter if it got rid of non-+ items that you have the + equivalent for, or in the case of shotguns or blade launchers, smaller multiples (standard shotgun x 5, standard shotgun x 3). Also, a lot of the specs on weapons could be a lot more informative if you converted them out of how they're used as game variables. Rate of fire is a good example. You already do that in the equipped stats, but it would be helpful as part of the item description.

This is not FPS! I cant' designate shooting direction but enemy's hit judgement is too small. And most slow bullets. It's irritating.

quad grenade launcher is the best, it has almost same effects with saw launcher, but it does greater damage...
game is good, sounds is quite annoying,
graphics are good, but levels seems too long and boring...

Good game, but I have some comments as well. The RPG elements are nice, but the 'miss' seems te be misplaced. It's strange that you have a random chance to miss even if you hit the enemy. Also, the character development is a bit useless. The character with the increased attack power is by far the best, because the character with the extra evasion won't gain any extra chance to dodge and the character with the increased health can take just one hit more in the final levels. The final comment is that the game is quite easy and gets boring after a while. All the levels are pretty much the same and you just get upgraded versions of each enemy in the later levels. 3/5
