if the inventory is boring, just leave it grow. Then hit the Recycle duplicates button to recycle all.You won't delete any cool weapon accidentally! Then it's auto sorted from the rarest to the most common;Just use the top rarity.Best pilot is Clarke, as takes down faster the ships,so that earns exp faster!

A belt fed rocket launcher, quad grenade launcher, chain lightning guns, I do belive I've gone to heaven. This game is awsome!

+ acceptable graphics
- very repetitive
- after the last level nothing happens
- weapon balance is very bad: 3x combat shotgun, doom/diamond edge shotgun or the 4x grenade launchers are "I win" buttons, together with a long duration shield you are imune to everything, when using the 4x grenade launchers most of the time you don't even have to move to hit all enemies of multiple waves, lasers are useless sind you nealry never get multple enemies behind each other
- enemies standing around shooting their pattern, waiting to be shot?
- story is as bad as expected for a game like this

The chance to miss on attacks is usually reserved for RPGs where the player only selects the Attack option and it's random whether the attack hits. In real time action games, I miss when I miss and hit when my bullets hit. But here, even when I hit, I still may miss? This seems out of place.

The fact that I played through the entire thing, waiting for the payoff and there was no ending to the story infuriates me.

is it me... or did weasel name the 3 pilots after the top gear hosts? james may(mayday), richard hammond (hammet) and jeremy clarkson (clarke)

Either the population counter is screwed up, or there's only 145 people living in the gigantic metropolis on the ice planet Kuura. Maybe the population is measuring in millions? Then Dimora would have a population of 30 billion, which seems a bit too much for a planet that still has forested areas...

I may just be nitpicking, but the distances are messed up... Ther first three planets indicate Seren should be to the left as the closest planet according to the stats on the mission select screen is Dimora. So how is Lavicus almost three times closer if it's in the opposite direction?

Well, I dont really mind htere not being an ending, what are we gonna see, then finally getting that tea, drink, soda, couch, etc, and kickin back, mission done. What, did you wanna see some sexy naked alien robot chick saying she would be back then zooming off in an escape ship?
I liked it, the difficulty scaled well, the weapons were fun to play with, I managed to get lucky and snag a QX-6 rocket launcher, that and Impact grenade launcher x4... awesome explosive type weapons there. Powerful, and can sweep enemy rockets and grenades as well, fast reload and a large area of coverage. Better than Doom-6 shotgun, though I found the pounder x5 better, half the reload time, extra shot, double the chance of crit, and onlt 10 less atk power bonus than the doom. That and I loved the name <3

did you know that the three playable characters are meant to be Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May off top gear? look at the characters names and faces (and height) and you will see.

As many others have said, the major issue I had with the game was the inventory issue - constantly getting 'garbage' you have to wade through, and having no easy way to recycle items led to spending as much time managing my mostly useless inventory as playing the actual game. The easiest solutions I can see would be to break up the inventory into sections - weaponry, absorbs, reflects, and have two check boxes next to each item one saying recycle, the other saying never recycle. There should be a 'select all' option as well. Then a button, with confirmation box, letting you do it in one batch. Similarly, let the recycles have a better chance of being useful...or else possibly let us enhance an existing weapon for 10 - 25 recycles...anything to make it useful. Other than that, I really enjoyed the game, even with the very easy combat...so much so I'm going through again, hoping to see weapons I missed the first time (heard about this doom shotgun, but never saw one)

5/5, I started playing and didn't stop until I beat it! But there are a few little tweaks that would make the game a lot more fun - add checkboxes (or another way to select several at once) to the inventory slots so that you can select 30 or 40 things at a time to recycle - the last level takes like 5 minutes to manually recycle everything. Too redundant and tedious. Also, it would be nice to be able to have like color coded items - for instance, green for armor, red for weapon, etc... there are too many items and it's too tough to keep track.
Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm missing something, but several times I was looking at weapons and it had a "+" next to the atp or what have you, but it was colored red instead of blue. Just fyi.
Great work!

The weapon and shield inventory really annoys me. It is Really badly organized and it's really hard to find the right weapon and browse through them all to see which is best. It's also annoying picking up really basic shields/weapons when your really far into the game. And the whole "redeem" thing ALWAYS gives me something I already own. Inventory defiantly needs a complete redesign

nice, well done and a good 'evolution', but...
- the first game was more challenging, this one seemed too easy, never had to replay levels, breezed through bosses
- inventory management got to be a chore, a 'recycle all' would be good, or a way to recycle everything below a certain level
- lastly the formations in blueshift were just... better, the single waves in redshift somehow cut out a lot of strategy (ie. laser no longer useful for cutting 4+ ranks at a time)
even so good game, hope to see a new version

And for all those complaining about the absence of an inventory sorting mechanism: It IS kinda sorted already - notice that if you ever have two (or more) of the same item (one plus one normal OR two of one), they are always next to each-other AND when you claim an item from recycles, the item doesn't go straight to the bottom (or top, for that matter).
For those complaining about how long it takes to clear your inv... Using the keyboard makes the process go at least 3x faster. Use the A key to select, and arrow keys to navigate.

Nice game. However, there are a few thing that could be improved:
- there should be a story. OK, maybe there is, but it's hidden behind a crapload of macho-lingo I cannot be bothered to read
- the inventory needs some work:
1. The items should be sorted alphabetically! This is a must.
2. There should be two panes: one for newly found items (with a "recycle all" button) and one for stuff I decided to keep. Now I have to go through my whole equipment list every minute or so to get rid of all the junk I pick up.

Amazing Game!! I normally love shooters, but this one had the leveling RPG element, which made it even more awesome because you feel some sort of progress. The weapons were all unique and they were interesting to try out just to see what they looked like. But, as mentioned above I believe the Cascade Triple Rocket Launcher was the best :).

Great game. Easy enough that I didn't get frustrated and quit, engaging enough that I played it straight through to the end. For my money, the X-01 Absorption shield is amazing. Also, the Titanium Shotgunx5 will kill anything.

I really want to like this game, but I can't help but feel that, despite all of the weapons and the good production values, the game is just simply boring. I like the stats, I like the random rolls on hits, I like the variety of weapons (though random drops is weird - you don't get a sense of progression from it), but the enemies are slow and boring and the first two levels felt like a chore. I honestly haven't the patience to press on. Could be awesome, but needs some more compelling gameplay to go along with the rest. 3/5

Great game, smooth game play and pretty interesting 4/5! But I find it hard to believe that bullets miss when you clearly see they touched your enemy, especially rocket launchers. Other than that, the missions are fun, but repetitive. The inventory though looks overstuffed with information on the stuff though, but overall, it's an awesome game :)

Generally a good game, I like the style of progression, though after around 6 missions (inc side), it can become a bit of a grind. Graphics are good, sound good though a little repetitive (though i'm aware that a vast majority of music and sound would just add to a ridiculous load time for some).
Another point is the "miss" idea, as this game requires some action to attack it's targets rather than standard point and click. Perhaps lower the damage instead of miss for random shots instead.

Last mission: "There's something else out there..." *Transmission ended* Ships, slowly increasing in difficulty? Why not just normal ships? (Later) This is taking a while. Is this survival mode? If so, it should have mentioned that! Where's the gunship? (Later) *ENEMY GUNSHIP DETECTED* Finally! *Giant purple and black orb appears* WAIT WHAT IS THAT. *Orb starts shooting bullets and missiles from inside, with no visible cannons* WHAT? *I die* :O *Retries from gunship checkpoint* *Orb re-appears* *Dies again* Does that thing even have HP? *Eventually, orb explodes* What? No end dialogue? No levels after that? We should have something that at least someone explains the orb, or at least some confused speaking.
