The fact that I played through the entire thing, waiting for the payoff and there was no ending to the story infuriates me.

did you know that the three playable characters are meant to be Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May off top gear? look at the characters names and faces (and height) and you will see.

Items are sorted by rarity, also if you recycle items of the same rarity, the item will be the level of your rarity. Don't just use random rarities.

Is it just me or does the the names and looks of each character look like the Hosts of TopGear? (Hammet is Hammond, Clarke is Clark, i guess. And James is "Mayday". :P

when you point on a blank inventory space, it equips you with no shield.
Then you can activate EMP charges anytime, no delay, causing 9999 damage.

U know i always see those hidden coments and they are hidden for having vulgar language in it so people automaticly press the - button without reading it and hexwulf has a good point ima clic + on his comment.

bug, bad one. one of the later bosses.. i used the thor gun completely and now the boss is just sitting there... doing nothing :/

while I agree that the inventory could use work, I personally check items as soon as I get them, so I don't have a massive backlog.

awesome game, rpg meets action space shooter 5/5 bit of lack of guns though i dunno about everyone else but i got the combat shotgun about 3 levels in and nothing else beat it 10+ levels in

Hopefully my last comment for now:
The "XM-1005 Absorb EMP Unit" IS IN FACT THE BEST SHIELD IN THE GAME, easily topping the "XM-1001 Reflect". Although the 1005 has a slightly lower output damage per absorbed bullet than the 1001, it makes up for that by damaging EVERY HITBOX ON SCREEN (with the exception of your own) with the same amount of damage and ZERO chance of missing.
Do I prove my point? =D

OOH! I just figured, the only reason I like the saw blade launcher so much is because I'm using CLARKE. His bonus is one extra point of damage (ATP) per level up, regardless of your chosen weapon type; because of this, rapidfire/multi-hit weapons are much MUCH more effective than their slower, high base-ATP counterparts. Sweet.

No, no no no. There DEFINITELY already is a sorting system in place, no doubt about it. You spoiled brats just need to stop complaining!

Now, for my input regarding the enemy weapon types... The creator pulled this off pretty well, what with only two weapon types for the enemy. Shields make bullets a piece of cake, and are very easy to farm for EMP energy. Add rocketeers, they make that near impossible to do without some fancy footwork. Rocketeers on their own are easy to take out one by one with any sort of low-pow hi-freq weapon, but that's often hard with gunships flooding you while you're standing still. Each class has its flaws, but they (usually) have each-other's backs pretty well. BUT... Blast them with a sawblade launcher, and they never stand a chance. lol.

And for all those complaining about the absence of an inventory sorting mechanism: It IS kinda sorted already - notice that if you ever have two (or more) of the same item (one plus one normal OR two of one), they are always next to each-other AND when you claim an item from recycles, the item doesn't go straight to the bottom (or top, for that matter).
For those complaining about how long it takes to clear your inv... Using the keyboard makes the process go at least 3x faster. Use the A key to select, and arrow keys to navigate.

I personally prefer the saw blade launcher (my current weapon being a double cutter). Each round hits multiple times on one enemy, then falls downward with a chance to hit another enemy as it would if I had just shot it. Perfect for larger targets and fields of mines (cleared a full screen of mines in less than 3 seconds with only two hits on me) and gunships. I<3SAWBLADES

LOL I hit a health pack after I died. Revived me at a funny angle, then exited the playfield back to the mission map. T_T damn.

the lightning gun does almost no damage, but it's useful to have one for those times when the screen is filled with bullets, so you can kill 'em from behind.

Don't really understand all the 'best ever FTW rofl' type comments. It's pretty dull after planet 4 and there appears to be no logic to the weapon upgrade system. And you end up with loads of crap kit which takes ages to sort/get rid of.
5/5? I think not. But it's not rubbish by any means.

The best shields are: XM-1001 Reflect Shield Unit (100 duration and 100 each reflected bullet)and XM-1005 Absorb EMP Unit (cost: 30, hit: 2500 and 40 duration), my favorite weapon is: QX-5 Rocket Launcher (50 ATP, 10 ACC, 10 RoF) the rocket launcher shoots 5 rockets so it owns every enemy on the screen. 5/5 for one of the best games ever!

Very nice game, played thorugh it all. 4.5/5 due to that is was a bit annoying with the inventory. but other than that great game. :)

You got some awsome graphics going on.. really like it alot.. I would play this game more than 15 minutes, if you made us a mouse controleable option.. Some laptops gets stuck on movement using arrow keys :/
