Don't accidentally go off the screen when you've got a buddy. It gives you a "whoops" thought bubble then you're stuck off screen for forever, have to restart... No desire to pummel that many werewolves again.

Maybe only I noticed, but I don't think the "wagging" tail underneath the wolves has its effect. Again, maybe just me, but I think that those are something...else.

Platforms. What can you say? The game looks cool (so did Donkey Kong) and lots of platform games feature challenges where you have to manipulate the player character across or over some form of physical obstacle.
My issue with platform games is generally that the game systems treat "not perfect" as "failure deserving of death" ie, if you fall off the platform, you die.
I wish more platform games offered options on overcoming the obstacles other than trying to time your approach perfectly and get really really good at pushing buttons (does anyone see any subtext there in platform game design??) I'd love to explore this one further, but after dying ten times trying to sneak up on the first of seven werewolves with guns, I realize I am probably not the target audience for this game. And that's OK.
Anyway, that's two days in a row where Kongregate has made a badge of the day for a platform game and twice I've gotten super frustrated in the first ten minutes and given up.

BUG: If you attack the werewolf guard outside of the child's cell, and knock him out of the room, the werewolf's screaming sprite will be permanently stuck to your character's body.

Just like in real life! Its easy to beat werewolves to death with your bare hands, but its hard to get a crying child to do as its told

if you're going to make it take so long to kill something, at least make the animations worth it. like add a shoryuken or something

Chalenging, but it's also just stupid, how it's just falls to muscle memory, the puzzles are forced, and don't really require much thought, just timing on each of the same thing (portal room is just wait til they get close to you so you don't teleport) the killing animation is too long to be satisfying.

@Zstick, we got a Vox Dei sequel! (I did not know until today either) =) Even has a demo here on Kong, kind of challenging. â–º â–º â–º http://kongregate.com/games/greatcogs/vox-populi-vox-dei-episode-2 â–º â–º â–º

In the room with the platform that descends when you get on it, if you go right back to the transporter room, you can fall into a trap on the left edge of the screen.

This game needs a sequel SO BADLY. The balance and pace and visceral feel of taking down an enemy has brought me back to this game dozens of times since it was released. I got the badge back in 2009, and this game still holds up.

One of the worst games I've (tried to) play. "Oh look, you were off by one pixel - you're dead and have to redo the whole screen".

Very cool game. Should have made an alternate ending for those who played it and want to replay it. Something that could be done that you don't notice the first time around at the end. But otherwise a very good game 5 stars from me.

so ya know that tutorial room where it teaches you to use ctrl to sneak by the werewolves? its possible to kill every werewolf in that room. no joke.

"Hey, I have this game with kinda wonky controls, do you know what I could add to it?" "I know, a level where you have to be really precise with the controls! Oh, and make the screen flash like crazy for no reason."
