level 5: the most urgent threats are the two middle pools. one of these will become unreachable if you don't deal with it.
once you deal with that, you need to carve out the entire map to maximize reactor space. build a few tech domes.
when you have plenty of energy, dig out the roof above the evil crown, and build LAUNCHERS. (not blasters, launchers...ok, 2 blasters is fine, that's it.).
You should be able to do it in less than 30 minutes of in-game time, even if you go slowly.
NOTE:
you CAN beat it in 15 minutes without using launchers, but only if you know EXACTLY what you're doing.

PLEASE make more story mode levels, I'm on a Chromebook, so I can't buy the game, but I have it on the family Macbook at home, which I barely get to use anyway.

A couple tips and tricks: 1)When your own Creeper is flowing the wrong way, use shields to block it, and flow your own way. 2)Using a mass Blaster Brigade is a great tactic, especially with launchers and shields. 3)Use Launchers for the 5th level!

The shield blocks you can build will hold back the creeper for a time, but your weapons can fire through it. So you can build a wall to hold the creeper in the small spaces while you hit it with a few blasters and mortars.

I meant don't try to get to the gateways without being prepared for the creeper trap. I guess I should be more specific next time :P

Tell me then, how exactly do you suggest we DO get to the gateways, considering that they're surrounded by unbreakable rock except for those two dirt blocks?

Spoiler warning. This comment warns the player about something that happens on level 8.
When you try to get to two gateways surrounded by unbreakable rock, don't try to get to them through the breakable dirt. It unleashes 10000 K worth of creeper. Check the creeper density and you'll see what I mean without having to break the dirt.

Wow mission 10 was fun, I first let the creeper rise for about an hour and then went all aggro on it afterwards 8) eZ. cool game! I like the up-down-perspective over the flat view of the predecessor(s?) 5/5 and fav'ed

@Whiteboardwar I love this game. It is probably my favorite game on Kongregate. It is perfect for me, and obviously a lot of other people. I didn't really like the other creeper world games, so I am requesting that you make another Creeper World: Academy style game. Rate this up so Whiteboardwar will see :)

At level 7 Pressure, the creeper chamber broke open. So i change my strategy. I dug carefully upwards and avoided breaking open other chambers. While I dug upwards, I moved the ship along with my new holes. I delayed the rising creeper with anti-creeper, (but soon run out of ore) so that helped. Eventually, I broke out into the surface, where I flew as high as possible, and wondered if the creeper would rise that far. And that's how you do exactly what the game says you should prevent.

took me a while to finish all 10 missions, but i have to say that this game rocks.....made me cant before i finish all of the missions lol

Indeed, I've looked at the site for CW3, firstly I'm sad that it will probably never be free, and secondly I'm sad that they went back to the old style of the game. I feel this style just has so much more potential for variety, especially if they made the maps bigger and put an editor in it.

Holy batman! Took me 66 mins to clear last level. I didn't use those bombs the way you should I think. Spent 40+ energy per second to beat it.
