It is only natural that people like different anything: games, colors, movies, TV shows, etc. There is nothing wrong about not liking a game. Some of the niceties this game has are: A new game every day, there are several solutions to any puzzle, and the game can be played with different self-imposed restrictions to make it more difficult. The SURVIVAL mode will kick in automatically after 1 hour of gameclock time. Have you played any of the other, earlier versions of this game? In all honesty, I did not like this game the first time I played it either. But as I grew to understand it more by playing through all the versions, it became fascinating. I hope you find another game you enjoy more. And it was kind of you to play it a few times to give it a chance.

I still don't get the idea of survival mode automatically being turned on :/
The general idea of survival mode was great, other then it goes from producing 2-20 and jumps to 100. I simply think that to finish a level should be separated from survival mode.

*Gets an hour into my game, about to win* "Survival mode activated!" Me: "Shit, well my amazing line of blasters can handle it." *Realizes my back line is only protected by 1 mortar because that was all that WAS needed* *back gets demolished and I die* Me: "Damn."

Although I love all creeper games, this isn't the best.
All the levels are just randomly generated and uploaded once a day, and they are just land blobs of different heights. Before they were handcrafted to be fun and look good.
Different challenges, and different difficulties.
The last one was the better game.
4/5

I have contacted Kongregate support to try to get MTargaryen banned. I have also emailed Knuckle Cracker support to see if they can work with Kongregate to solve the issue. Let's see if that does any good...

Haven't yet felt the need to make it harder for myself, I always just go for speed. That's never got boring for me, and I must have played well over 2,000 levels through the full version (user-created and chronom).

Love Knuckle Cracker and Creeper World, best Strategy series, and only Real-Time Tower Defense Strategy game made and as such is the best in that genre! Lol RTTDS, that's a long acronym.

shadowbuild's March 4 challenge: Completed in 51:04, all emitters capped, no Storage, Speed, Reactor, or Drone at any time.
Would've been a lot faster if I had pushed north earlier, so I could take advantage of the huge basin it would unlock, but anyway.
My strategy: IMMEDIATELY push for the upgrade point, and put it in RANGE.
Then, push east to the high ground as fast as you can, and get a mortar set up on the eastern edge of it. The range upgrade will allow it to bomb one of the basins, and it can be put south for some quick bombing of the southern basin, allowing pushes forward and disposing of a lot of creeper. A single mortar covers the large northwest basin and is powered down most of the time, powered up when the creeper gets deep to make it stay back.

The evermore version of the game is slightly to easy, anybody can learn from the older versions, but playing one a day on this dificulty is getting me in a routine... maybe the scale of the chart should be smaller with more emittors, or higher creep emitting rate... love the game, i need it, its drus!!!!

seltje, move city to middle island, secure it with 2-3 mortars and 4-6 SAM-s, then build some reactors and start taking back right side of map...

i nearly finish killing the creeper and i accidently click "survival mode" and FWOOOOOOOOOOM!!! my entire base gone in 15 seconds...

to "beat" the survival mode, don't be to hungry. stay back where the creeper layer is shallower. create a line of mortars with a line of blasters behind them. the blasters will keep the creepers away from the mortars and the mortars will reach the more concentrated layers. don't send more than one drone to a single point; it's useless. move the city closer to the lines to speed the packets delivery. upgrade the reach when possible but not the fire rate. don't pack the lines too tightly or you will starve; the city has a limited output.

"Hmm, maybe I can farm the creeper by having blasters around their spawn.
*60 minute mark*
Survival mode!
WHERE THE HELL IS THE LAST TOTEM"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Helpful little hint. Before starting survival mode, either have 5 blasters on each spore or have a HUGE line of weapons to hold the line. Oh yeah, make drones. Lots and lots of drones.

if this "fractal alloy" they make the totems out of is immune to creeper...... Then why dont they just make Everything out of it?

Excellent game, I have to say! Although I have to admit, seeing some of the handpicked levels from the other games makes some of the dailies seem a little lack-luster. Still, definitely a 4.5/5, if only because of the level design feeling a little...same-y every day.

I wasn't expecting much. Maybe another td clone with retro graphics. I was shocked. This game greatly surpassed my expectations in every possible way. What an amazing and innovative game.

how do you "beat" survival .... I have an EPIC build that isnt beat as i type this but ... you can neccisarly beat it can you ... you can leave the comp on though =D and you'll have like 3 hours of progress here

kongregate has some of the best games of all time, i play more on here than all the factory produced crap that comes out today, its games like this that make me want to be able to make games so badly, hopefully one day I can grasp it and will make enjoyable games.

11/29 presents a unique survival-mode opportunity. Cover the isolated forward island with mortars and power them with a relay from the "mainland". The island is surrounded by deep pools ideal for mortar bombardment.

One of the most hilarious parts for me about this game is the after round graphs. I can almost ALWAYS pin point where I built my first mortar because that is where creeper coverage suddenly spikes down and my creeper killed spikes up.

He sprang to his sleigh, but first one last troll:
"12/21 - 1:14 'cuz I am on a roll"
But I heard him exclaim at the end of his spree:
"Merry Christmas to all! And to all: SMB"!

*gasp* WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS EVERMORE PACK? YOU, SIRS AND MADAMS, NOW CONTROL MY SOUL.... MY CREEPER-DESTROYING SOUL.

seriously, to the developer. There needs to be the option to watch as your advanced network is reclaimed by the creeper after Odin City escapes, and everything loses power. The would be so cool!

These games are so amazingly fun! I've wasted countless hours in them - but I still cringe when I hear that knuckle *crack* sound! haha! Help support this amazing series and buy the full games - which are *MUCH* more amazing! :)

"Captian!" "what?" "we have the creeper totally controlled and the city is safe with an endless supply of energy." "WERE LEAVING!!!!!!!"......i love logic.

Finally. After playing for so many days my total playtime is about 1 whole day. God, such a waste of my good life ... well, one more, one less, Im going for the second day.

I always end up continually starving, but I never want to stop expanding for long enough to solve the energy deficit. Very Malthusian.
