Developer, i have some feedback for you:
1) Save feature. Some maps just take long to complete, and we aren't no-lifers
2)Grid system. I want to place my collectors 2 spaces away from them, but it is hard to do without grid. Make it toggleable, through.

There should be a massive map. i mean like as big as a planet with about 50 emitters spread over around 50,000 map spaces. + if you agree.

just for fun, i made as many reactors as possible (on roots one) and i got 89.2 energy collection.
I bet you can beat it!

@Karsten75, by "precisely" I presume you mean the diagonal space next to where the two wall sections meet? That's what I meant when I said "Next to them". Probably just a glitch. I'm having another pop now. Will tell on how I get on :-)

@handyZanny: Those pink walls are crazonium that does not allow connections through them. You have to position your collectors precisely. See my profile to a link for a walkthrough.

Any reason that on the Virus mission, I can't activate the totems? I have collectors and relays next to them but they don't seem to be able to connect? I have totem energy on in the main hive as well so really confused...

@Geezerette: Thanks, glad my advice helped. Also, I made walkthroughs of all the levels. You can find then here. http://goo.gl/eKLQD Note that in a few instances I've gone back and replayed the levels more in line with my recommendation (build energy before building weapons - as much as it is possible) na din most cases when I do this I can get about 3-4 minutes faster time without much effort.
The improvements are mostly on maps like Settlers, Blast from the past and similar - open terrain maps - in the maze maps, it is all about speed.

Its a shame you cant move odin city anymore, but i do enjoy how you can now alter which packets go where

@Drachnyn: I know it seems weird, but I have figured that out. When you have a deficit it is because the amount of energy being put out is less than the energy needed to operate your whole system--building, supplying ammo for weapons, etc. So when you have a deficit your system is not working at full efficiency. When your energy collection increases, you have more energy to send out--which is why your depletion shoots up. Your system will work more efficiently, though.

really don't understand the energy system, I'm stuck in deficit for ages at 1.1 collection and 1.3 deficit, just finish a load of reactors, nothing else building or changes, and my collection goes to 5.5, but my depletion shoots up to 5.7... still in deficit

OK, I got some advice from a friend on lvl 12. 1 was to do what Karsten75 suggests and the other was to put a Blaster at the top on the right in front of the gap as soon as I could, right after rescuing the 2 survivors, of course. Made all the difference. Completed lvl 12 and the bonus. Wish I'd realized about the pausing at the beginning a lot sooner :P Don't hate the game any more :)

I can't believe how long it took me to figure out i could double the game play speed...
