I forgot about the BoTD and tried tackling this as a Hail Mary: I failed due to how the final mission's objectives are so obtuse to find.

For the life of me I can't rate this any higher then 2 stars, it starts fine but level 5 it throws everything at you and more. Never ending waves of enemies and turrets respawning faster then you can kill them, it's just suicide runs to get in some damage then die, repeat until you win.

Game is largely ok. The main problems it has is how easy it is to click out of game bounds (which doesn't pause), how weak bombs actually are in later levels (takes nearly every bomb you carry to destroy an air strip on normal) and finally how fast turrets and the like respawn. I'm all for a challenge, but feels kinda pointless to focus on destroying things when they respawn in about the same amount of time it takes to destroy them.

The idea that the turrets regenerate nearly immediately is fairly unique. And ridiculous. a 1/5 for exactly that reason. It's not a strategy game, it's a nonsensical, spastic rush in and kill. Oh, and the controls are horrific.

This game is short if you play on easy and immediately bomb the factories. Everything around them will get destroyed afterwards.

If you don't care about meaningless points and just want the BOTD, play on easy mode, kill as many turrets as you can and die instead of healing at the carrier because it's just one trip instead of two trips by dying.

I should have just destroyed the war factories immediately instead of saving the POWs because my time ran out and my score was 0 anyway in level 6.

This game is awful. bullets change direction based on your movement direction. Game lags it self out with too much death and crap on screen. Your skill basically doesn't matter. Hard doesn't make it more difficult just makes you return to ship 1000 times to finish bullet sponges that take 100s of bombs. Even by 2008 FLASH game standards this is a pile of burning trash.

It wasn't too bad, it was quite fun, the only problem was the lag whenever too many things died at once when destroying a war factory, otherwise it was very good.

The game becomes much simpler once you realize that time doesn't matter and dying doesn't matter. Just take out the airports ASAP so your carrier doesn't die. (I have no idea what this does, but I assume it fails the mission).

How do you progress in campaign mode..? Complete "contact" in all modes and wstill can't go on to the second mission.. WTF!!

In the last mission I have to clear road blocks to save civilians? yeah, tell that to all the POV I totally didn't save

If you don't care about score, you don't need to care about the time limit and dying is just a shortcut back to the carrier. Even if you do, -100 per death is pretty mild. Would've been nice if Q and E had been listed in the controls, though.

This was a poor game for BOTD unless you think several hours of raging is appropriate for what is normally a simple badge.

Another one of those stupid games where you don't know which way your avatar is going to go when you hit the left, right, up, or down key. It just goes wherever it wants. I get that it's a simple game, so the dev had to make it harder somehow.. but these "it's hard because the controls are hard" games are just STUPID.

Making the enemies RED and the civilians BROWN was not the best choice. Unlessy you intentionally want the players to be confused.

CONTROLS ARE SO PAINFUL if we had normal controls I swear to god I would've won that badge much sooner. not to mention that it's literally the botd to get that badge.
