I think the storyline in this game is better than any other game that I played in Kongregate so far. If you offer your game story writing skills and collaborate with more advanced game designers, would make a very sick game.

need to have a level limit in pvp, level 90 level 30 attacking it and cowardice, several stop playing this for a reason, there is not significant updates, also spends two hours gaining xp to die and you lose the q-hour delay

no item drops, no weapon or armor drops.. kinda boring just walking around grinding quests with no benefits.. nice graphics, but the whole platinum (real money) for everything good kinda stinks.. 3/5.. Could be Better

This game is telling me "give up" if we die we lose a ton of gold and exp but if we die means that we are weaker than the enemy to make us stronger as we have to purchase equipment how is that I'll buy if I lose all the gold when I die?
And if we run out of gold still takes us more exp.
They must not want us to play the game.

There should be a party lobby where people needing to complete the same quest can join eachother or set up a new party...

A level 7 main-quest done rewards 120 gold and 100 XP... smacking two Balds results in just that plus chance of two dropped items within 10% of the invested time. The game has degraded into a haunt for imbecilic retards as indulging of anti-social misbehavior was actually encouraged not stopped. Players are forced away from having fun by more and more "musts" to sustain their figure... In my opinion someone in the team wants the game to fail.

A quest on levels 18 to 22 brings a maximum of 12000 gold when one armor-part already costs 30000 gold. That is imbalance and a spoiler for a pretty atmospheric storyline I advanced to SOON. Respawn losses can't be compensated by less than 3 quests and 2 tasks either... Please balance the game for ALL players not just those who have 16 hours a day to play&grind...

they need to make real money distributable to all characters in an account. I just put $20 dollars into a character and the character died and I had to delete it because I am playing permadeath.

Like Hoschi said, xp loss is ridiculous. i just lost 1300 xp after dying because I forgot to set my attack. This will take 10-20 minutes of gameplay just to get back to where I was. Also, there's a silly amount of required rest time. For every boar I fight, I have to rest for 2-3 minutes. Not exactly an exciting game when you have to wait several minutes between enemies.

the combat system would be tolerable if the game REMEMBERED your combat commands or if you could SAVE a set of commands instead of having to SCRAMBLE to re-do everything at the beginning of EVERY battle...

A REALLY helpful idea for newbies? If they played through the introduction and realized they took the wrong class for their taste then allow them one modification/correction of their character without any proverbial platinum-demon pestering.

All classes could benefit from passive abilities on the skill tree. Yet maybe it is focused on the AP-usage for a purpose. Yesterday fellow players chat-foretold a class sucks. I think it is more a sign that the class is not your thing or that you erred on spending skill-points as all classes can become powerful enough to beat the game in any quest & task.

if you like the game but are angry on loosing so much xp then try normal taern.pl or taern.com i got 78 lvl archer there now i'm gonna check if the looses are so high or someone just don't like to die :P

The game would be awesome of it wasnt for the fact the devs dont care at all about problems with the game, like the glitched confirmation email that has no link and will delete your account, or a lvl 6 monster getting over a 400 hp crit on a lvl 13 character and 1 shoting you making you lose an item u just got but cant save because as a lowbie you cant afford the bank chests

Newbie-Hints: Quests are always better than hack&slash grinding. Emily in Trentis offers 3 quests did you know? For nearly any monster or foe their is a TASK. Lumberjack northwest of the forest ruin offers rewards for Bald, Hunter and Forest Spider in example. If you are stuck, find a quest instead of just slaying monsters. It gives more EXP and more rewards. ;-) And pray, that your connection is not throttled, when a server restart takes place..?

Such RPGs were known in my youth! Just here it comes in modern technology! Well, the tutorial SHOULD tell one, that the class skills are on skill-page 2, I had to delete my first Voodoo because she was fouled by my lack of knowledge. In the city of Tentris there are few quests only, should be more, as some choice and flavor would not hurt. Anyway, a pretty welcome game and quite atmospheric.

The quests have very original stories, many with permanent changes to the game, twists, and surprise endings. And it is the only game in kongregate to show naked people having sex and also deals with rape and such.

Very good intro voice, like how you start off by battling, and you get put into 2 tough decisions right after going outside; killing or not killing a dying guy and whether to loot an abandoned house

Haven't played yet, but really excited about the game based on top comment about high xp loss. I want to play an rpg that is actually hard. Permadeath would be better but those dont sell anymore.
