Hi, more players reported this as a bug. It's just imperfect AI. I'm currently working on it to improve the AI so it does not crash into airships or ground. I hope that that Red Baron will be beatable after AI upgrade :)

I would say to use "Shot Accuracy" instead of "Shoot Accuracy" in the stat chart after a mission..but it is a very cool game none the less.

Would adding a game mode to make this game like "Epic War" style be a good idea? If you could control one plane, but release a bunch minions every so many seconds in a battle of east vs. west... that´d be really cool.

This game was awesome, and appreciate the Dev responses. A sequel would be good. I'd like to see bigger differences between the planes and missions, and maybe different upgrades for the different planes. Still going to give it a 5 star because it was fun and I can come back and play it agian.

hey everybody try mixing Machine Gun with Twin Gun and Burst Gun.That way you can be a all arounder range gunner and if you buy the Impact Bombs then buy the Proximity Detector
One of the small secrets of the game, you are able to mount two machine guns at once! I personally rush on Twin machine gun and use it with standard Machine gun. Then I rush on Malicious parachute and from that point, the game is easy I you know how to use the weapons.
Hi, that was my former intention, to make a multiplayer airplane game. However I implemented the game in actionscript2 and old flash technology and it does not allowed me to make such mutiplayer games without struggling with network lags. So only hotseat multiplayer has left. You can play the game with your friends on one computer, just hit Play->Multiplayer. Maybe the sequel of the game will be pure online multiplayer ;) Or download concurent product. I personally love "www.altitudegame.com"

It seems my plane parts get wrecked even faster than those of my enemies even when I am fully upgraded. Should be more balanced.

Hi, no it's not a bug. Maybe the AI should be smarter, but this is not a bug, just imperfect AI :) If it was perfect, trust me, you won't like this game :D But i'll try to improve the AI a bit. Thanks for your comment.
Hi, you can, but not directly. If you rise steeply you slow down. If you turn nose down and dive from top of the screen to low altitude and then pull up to not crash, you gain speed.

Please,pleasepleaseplease, add an arena mode, just like bloon def but without bloons. I want to shoot stuff, not protect bloons from planes inside em.(maybe make bloons ignore fire from friedlies? annoying to get a plane out ot it) Got to lvl 18 in def so far, maxed out, any more challenge there? Anyway, 5/5 since a dev actually watches over his fun game.
Hi, thanks for a good idea. I think that this wouldn't be a problem to make it, if you have more detailed concept of the game mode in the head, please let me know. Now, if you want to shoot everything, go to Multiplayer, and set the planes as you need and play. In Multiplayer/Custom mode you can shoot everything you like :)

Idiotic game. Why my plane is destroyed by one bullet and the opponents need at least 10 hits before they are downed. Really irritating game.

ok, I finally got a damn reticle on my better aiming. WOW that sucks!!! I sold it because it was too distracting and much harder to lead the target.
Targetting system could help some players, but we, the pro players do not need it :) Targetting system is good when tail gun is purchased, in this case you are able to aim better backwards. Same to bombs, it shows you when to drop bombs (I hope I have implemented this feature :) )

great game, was lots of fun. But upgrades need a little more balance. Specifically, speed has more of a negative impact than a positive one. You get in front of the enemy you're chasing, instead of being able to throttle back, and it completely eliminates any benefit from agility. You're better off never going above 2 stars on speed.
You are right, not all upgrades are needed to be purchased. Every player must find out which combination is suitable for him. I personally prefer upgrading agility, thrust instead of speed, just like you. Speed is ok, but if you buy it you have to compensate with agility. And speed is possible to gain using diving maneuvre.

So I had no idea what I was doing against the Red Barron... He seemed completely impossible to beat but then he just killed himself twice >< won by default on my first try... yay...

I had my enemy with only one life for four times, all of those he escaped using a parachute and got time to destroy my balloons.
The real beauty of this game is, that just shooting is not enough. You have to think even about good configuration or weapon build. If you have trouble with such enemies that have emergency parachute, use your wisdom instread of brute firepower. If you buy malicious parachute (cheap) or EMP (more expensive) and make him crash, he cannot escape death :) Try this and nothing will stop you! :D

The Intro to this game said it all, that in its self even before I play the game earns a 5/5. Thank you for the reminder of the Battles these men foguht in the Skies. My Great Great Uncle was Billy Mitchell, any history buff will know this man.

This is a fun game. Difficulty seems just high enough to irritate, but not high enough to get me to quit. I must have gotten lucky with Richthofen -- I got him to crash into the zep. Now off to try the Defense...

grat:) One more recommendation, play the Campaign once again with Fokker (Red airplane) as Red Baron, the last level is different. You'll be facing 1 vs 4 superiority that means 5 airplanes on stage :)

me again^^ still playing this wonderfull game and i get the advanced weapon rack bug. i started with 2 prim and sec weapon slot, i bought extra slot then adv weapon rack and i still have 2 weapon slot. and when i sell it, it downgrade my plane to 1 prim and sec slot. wish it will help you dev. love this game^^

You were right about that. But now I really have a bug. I play deffence mode and after wave 13 or somthing enemy plaens don't take off anymore. They make a sound of engine start but they just sit on the ground for me to kill and then they don't respawn anymore.

I'm really hating the last level. That white out glare is painful on the eyes after a while. It's ridiculously unbalanced, unless you get a huge slice of luck. It's also impossible to tell whether your secondary weapon is available or not.
the white out glare is the result of NUKE explosion. The last level is easy if you know how to take that bastard down. Just a tiny amount of luck is needed. Buy "malicious parachute" weapon to take him down and "emergency parachute" so you have 30% chance to save your life after he kills you.

very fun and great game game good job! one bug, after lvl 10 or something like that in balloon def mode, ennemies no more take off, i kill them on the floor and they stay destroyed without respawning.

Great stuff! REally enjoyed this. Keeping the money when you fail a mission really helps - I think I found the second mission hardest of all until I got some upgrades. Couple of issues: the continue campaign button is tiny, should really be swapped with the new campaign if there's a campagin already active (I nearly wiped my save by mistake); when I continued my campaign, my rank went back to 1; on the semi final qualifier, if the airship goes off the edge of the screen, it never comes back (not sure if that's intentional). But this is seriously addictive!
Hey, I'm glad that you like my game. Good point, writing down your notices, I fix it soon. According to airship, it comes back and appears on the opposite edge on the screen, but is takes time, since it is flying slowly :)

Advanced weapon rack doesn't work for me. It give me 1 more slot, but when i buy new weapons it says that all my slots are full.
Hi, it is not a bug, advanced weapon rack allows you to mount one more weapon och each type primary/secondary. Generaly you are able to mount 2 primary and 2 secondary weapons at once. When you buy advanded weapon rack, you are able to yield 3 primary and 3 secondary weapons (indicator next to the airplane graphics). But to buy them you have to have free slots at the right bottom inventory (mounted devices). I recommend to buy "extra cargo storage" first, it ads one more row of slots into your mounted devices inventory. Then you can buy "advanced weapon rack".

One thing I'd really like to see is more performance optimization. I have a bad computer, I can't play this, but I can play some of the more fancy flash games without trouble.
Hi, the main problem is that the game runs on Actionscript2 which is slower then AS3. The only think I can recommend you is to toggle the graphics quality to a suitable level (top right corner button - toggle to LOW value)

loved it just two issues though. 1: if you emp a plane it only counts as a kill if they are under the status effect even though they come out of it micro seconds from the ground. 2: i have activated emp and killed my opponent after my "pilot" is dead. how does that work? 5/5 anyway.
1)When you cause stall (malicious parachute, emp, acoustic rifle) to enemy plane and it recovers 1 microsecond before touching the ground, you unluckily don't get kill. This is hard to determine when to add kill to stats or not. So I decided to trigger it only when enemy touches the ground stalled. 2) it's a bug not a it's a feature. If you get criticaly hit, you can still fire weapons no matter if "pilot hit" message appears or not :) A big thanks for voting!

Hi, this game is not about realism. It has a stall mechanism and somebody likes it somebody not. It is impossible to make such a complex game that suits to all players. If you upgrade thrust (at least 2 points), you will be less sensitive to stalls.
