This isn't even a game - it is rather quite innane. At the lease could give us quality settings so maybe the controls had a chance of working.

To beat the laser, you just have to outlast it; circle around the crab as the laser circles. No matter what health he's at, he'll go down.

why can I shoot him for 10 minutes he starts using the pearl laser and I can no longer damage him. His health is at just a dot the whole time but he wont die. BS badge.

I dunno what you guys are complaining about. Medium mode is hardly a challenge, i did it on my second run. The first run was when i beat easy mode.

Just before the crab's life meter was depleted, the screen flashed, 'swordfish' came back a second time and the crabs life meter disappeared and was no longer taking damage.

For the pearl laser, don't forget that you do not collide with the crab. You can go through the crab itself without actually being damaged. Just stay in your segment of the laser grid and go around the central point (going through the crab). That's one of the only stages where I got no damage.

this game sucks more than tower of greed (so it must be horrible) i cant get past the pearl lasers, but some hits, you can shoot your main weapon through the pearl laser, so hit that crab in the face!

There really should be a way to turn off the flashing. My eyes can be pretty sensitive & staring at the game made me feel sick.

If anyone is having trouble when the pearl attack happens, try pressing Ctrl when the crab uses it. This will reset the crab's attack patterns but keep his current health.

I'm not sure if it's the HORRIBLY loud music, of it this game is just bad.. but... That was easily the worst game I've ever played.

i finally beat this game. i never got passed the pearl attack because of the lag, and for some reason dieing there made his health get stuck. i think dieing at the electric gate once helped because i got a little extra damage in at that part and i beat it before even getting to the pearl. you can still shoot him at the gate section if you get in the correct section of the gate and almost touch the gate. if you do that correctly you can still damage him but he can't damage you. if you then deplete all your lives except your last at this section you should be able to beat him without pearl.

The controls on this game flat-out don't work on the 5 different computers I own. Why on earth does it even exist anymore? It sucked when it came out, and now it's unplayable on top of that.

If you're stuck at the pearl because of the lag, I stopped shooting and just focused on dodging the pearl beams. Like others have commented, the crab body doesn't hurt you, just the beams. I wish I had known sooner that the attacks are time based and not damage based. It felt like each attach came around the same damage threshold and ended when it reached the next damage threshold but that wasn't the case.
