Okay guys seriously... Why is this game not rated higher? Nice hand-drawn graphics, nice ambient music, cool sound effects like the dooo-looo-looo before each battle, and a storyline reminiscent of the earthbound series... Yes, it has some problems like a twitchy combat system, but we're people who play RPG's! Compared to the usual bad game design, dialogue and level grinding we deal with, this is smalltime! Rate it 5/5, we want to encourage more games like this!

This is the best game ever!
Special notes:
1. To maximize Paige's Brain Drain, hold down both Z and X. Don't press them rapidly!
2. Monsters have their own elements. Don't use Ignite in the desert. Use it against the Vesitites in Rahl Mart would be better.
3.Train your characters early. Then the game would be defeatable.

So.. This is a non-fantasy game... with evil demons, magic, demonic plants etc etc... Just because it takes place in modern day, doesn't make it non-fantasy. It's just a different kind of fantasy. But linguistics aside, this is fun so far :) Interested to see where this is going though..

How this game got buried amongst all the others is beyond me... Good core gameplay, character EXP required scales based on what level you get the character at, good concept, good cast (for a flash RPG).
Definately deservers more attention 5/5

LOL, Jiggles Worth fails when he dies. Secret is to attack ONLY HIS CHAIR, IGNORE EVERYTHING ELSE. JUST. DESTROY. THE. CHAIR. Please + so everyone can see.

That was a little strange...
I was stuck after fighting the Stop! sign, since that hallway in the first room of the school wouldn't work (no 'C' prompt), but then I right clicked and changed the quality to Low and the prompt appeared.
Time to continue!

Hmmm... I really don't understand why this game has such a low average rating. The storyline is pretty good, the music is nice, although a bit repeatative, and the combat system is better than many other flash games I've played. I see a lot of comments about the enemies being overpowering, but I think challenging is more fitting. With the right formation and a bit of patience, you can pretty much beat everything without too much effort, as long as you don't rush. I'll give it a (for me) rare 5/5. With more skills and a bit of polishing, the second game will be awesome, which I'll look forward to. Definitely one of the better flash games I've played.

This game serves a good reminder that we all need to keep the gift of imagination alive. Even at my current age of 15, I still have my imagination. I use it in imaginary fights, and for drawing. Drawing and other arts are good ways to keep your imagination alive. My imagination is something that gives me small joy.

This is a game with massive potential. The plot is great, so is the dialogue. The combat system is pretty standard, but decent. The run control on main map is a nice touch. Minor tweaks would take this game to the next level. Mute button for music/sound effects. I never listen to game music, so instead I have silence, rather hear some Born of Osiris. Controls could use some refinement, in battle all the way right could cycle to far left and vice versa. A lot of tapping to get each character to do different things. Or maybe a grid for controls rather than a linear system. There are an awful lot of chance encounters, having a mode to speed up battle animations (perhaps after you've seen them once?) would be good. Overall, fantastic RPG, just needs some finishing touches.

Just summarizing some of the other comments here: 1) Enemies are too fast/need a way to avoid them 2) New characters should come leveled with the party 3) The moving attack bar is found annoying by some ppl - maybe an option to disable it and replace it with a standardized damage model? 4) Too much leveling involved/enemies have too much health 5) Need a way to see enemy health. Overall, I think the game is well done; a few tweaks in the battle system would eliminate a lot of the annoyance for people without taking away from the game, I think.

Between the underlying storyline messages and the music in the bluish nightmarey area, I can tell this is an easy 5+♥.

"It could be dangerous, you should find a weapon"
....
Yes, of course, let's give really sharp objects to little girls.
That's a positively brilliant idea.

Loved it, found it when it came out, and lost it, then tried it again and had the data corrupted in my computer and finally beat it the third attempt. It may be a simple flash, but I really enjoyed the effort you put into it. The music and the characters and especially the speech heard right before the last boss fight. 5/5 and thank you so much!

I rather like it so far. A few things id like to see is first a way to see the enemies health and second either a gear or custom states at level up so i can play each character as id like along with what spells i taught each one.

Once upon a time, I was floating around the internet, when I came across a strange quote. "To anyone who can know the bitter sweet taste of the word 'November,' may we forever bask in the softest shade of the color Tuesday." The sentence confused me, so naturally, I investigated. Finding this wonder of a game, I played for what seemed liked an endless amount of time. It was flawless. The graphics were pleasing, the music beautiful and the storyline just connected with me so well. After a while. the game started slowing down, so I closed the laptop and went to bed. Now, if I hadn't done that, I wouldn't have taken off my headphones, wouldn't have heard my friend fall and cry out, and I wouldn't have been able to help them. This game... While it sounds crazy, I feel like it helped me save a life.
