this is one of the most beautiful flash games i have evr played. the gameplay is smooth and crispy and this is the first time ive really felt immersed in a flash game. that fact that this gameis free and a flash game blows my mind. great job.

I don't get it... After falling into the basement, the bird saying "Pete, I lied to you" and your sister not being there just doesn't fit in multiple ways.

Genuinely my favourite game on kongregate, the story is just beautiful, that sort of melancholic sadness I'm so fond of is rarely captured as brilliantly as it is in this game.

"make yourself useful and go find out what is clogging the drain." *decides to be a bit rebellious, and clicks "no." "Do it or I will kill you." A bit harsh.

degon: Try jumping around randomly without any rhyme or reason. That's how I beat that part. Actually, that's how I beat most of the game.

alright, this is my take on the story. the story is about an actual coma, and the character you are playing as is a little boy, hence the "dore" bell. the entire world is your imagination, created off of ideas you had, such as a girl named jon. the dad could represents the disease, or, the accident, that is trying to kill you, like when he says check what's clogging the drain or I'll kill you. the bird represents the voice of reason trying to help you, or possibly a mom, or even your sister, who you were trying to save. the sister represents a sister, likely younger than you. I say this, because, like i mentioned before, the reason your in a coma was an accident. maybe you saved your sister from this accident, or maybe she got the disease as well, which would lead to you feeling like you had to protect her. the weird, fleshy level from the end is you leaving the coma, which is why it’s a puzzle, but that's all just a theory. 1+ if you agree with the idea, and post ideas of your own.

"Dad locked your sister in his secret basement" is a pretty disturbing way to begin a story. 9/10 for graphics and dark humor.
Definitely not Child Services approved.

This game seems like such a lovely, light hearted adventure... but somehow you just get the sense that there is something seriously, horribly wrong about it all.

*Misses the jump for the light after getting the orange seed* Screw this, I'm gonna refresh and see if I can respawn on the cliff to jump again *Game starts back at the beginning* Seriously?

I got stuck after the blob woman, too. You gotta go back to the kid that's on the swing... fruit... tree... hanging down things, since he's her son. He'll give you berries that will let you jump high enough to get back into your house.

this game is so beautiful. all the symbolism... fjlsdnaf. the music is amazing, especially in redwood fields (? is that the name?). it's a really uplifting game, really refreshing. I'm hoping for a sequel soon.

if you like this look up Ayreon's album The Human Equation, it's a musical story of a man getting through a coma much like in this game.
