ALSO:
TO get the final star on level five, hide behind the glowing block and charge into the defense sytem. The block will block the bullets, so you can dash up, grab the star, and book it.

hey developer i understand if you dont want to work on levels but at least add a level editor kinda stuff so lots of people mcan make levels for you

@Sakgeres @Nightshde For level 5 the easiest and best way to finish level 5 is to grab the stars that you can then go to the end exit there is enough light there to trigger the turrets then just edge down till the turret hits the blue box with it's bullets and sends it to you then just push it to the corner by the exit and go collect the last star.

The game isn't unfinished, it's unnessesarily short. You have a solid concept and it works, making the levels is the easy part. There's light, shadow, boxes, scout-bots, turrets, player clones, switches, insta-likk barriers... It's simple and it's good. No extra features required IMO.

Great game, although short. Already had the badge for BotD, but played again because it was worth going through the levels one more time.

Well done! Also, the end semi-congratulative-yet-self-deprecating non-reward end-sentence cracked me up (and yes, I think people should use more hyphens).
Excellent. More levels please, but maybe in these bite sized packages? How about "Oh no! It's the nearly completed box pushing game!" or something similar as the second installment?

@maonth I don't understand why you think it's luck based on level 5. Once I figured out how to do it I could do it every single time.

I liked the level where you had an anti-you, in a sense. If you want to make a "bigger" game, I'd definitely suggest putting that in there.

This game is quite finished in my opinion. The only problem is how the learning curve is kind of lopsided. Level 5 is harder than all the levels except the last. These two are the only levels I didn't get on my first try.

great game 5/5
but, i don't see how its unfinished. its just short. and i love it because of that.
i guess i was expecting something like upgrade complete, where it looks like its unfinished.

epic badge name, Original game, I'd say its nearly done. now just put in a few more levels, perhaps a boss in the last level, (fighting involving buttons and lazers) and its done

This game is beautiful. I don't see why you can't consider it finished, to be honest; the lighting effects are spectacular, the gameplay is unique and intriguing, and you even got some achievement badges going on. The only thing I can think of that's missing is a suitable title. All the same, an excellent distraction from real work. 5/5

It's not all that unfinished. It has all the parts of a perfect game. With some hard work this could be a really nice game. (Not that it isn't) Perhaps you could add some sort of a store/upgrades, or a backwards level. I want to see a sequel sometime soon. 5/5

An easier way to get the 'blue' star on level 5: creep up to the exit, so the bottom of the exit glow just hits you, making the turret fire the box up and out so you can get the star.
