What are the developers of Starland doing lately?
Putting together a prototype of Starland, to make sure the game play is right. Depending on certain things, you may or may not be able to play this prototype yourselves.
Pitching the game to some good, bigger companies we’d like to work with.
Stay tuned, stay patient!

So, the game is finally under development. That might sound fun, but there’s nothing to see here yet. Writing a robust multiplayer game is difficult, and requires a lot of housekeeping code before things get into action. On top of straight-up coding stuff like pathfinding, there’s the bigger job of design and architecture, so that an engine that allows real-time gameplay that doesn’t allow people to cheat gratuitously, runs on multiple platforms, synchronizes well across clients and doesn’t overwhelm the server. This is before the specifics of the visuals are even thought about.
