who said anything about dodging an acid puddle they only said zombies and acid rain what about the puddles...great game anyways 5/5 i like the pixel graphics too.

Downsides: Raindrops always block your way, go way too fast, appear everywhere, and always block you on the only available block possible, the zombie hands sometimes go out of time and kill me when they shouldnt, and the acid rain and zombie hand patterns make some parts of jumping between 2 zombies running at eachother almost important.

I have a problem with this game. I don't have a problem with instakill rain coming down from the sky, but there's a difference between obstacles that make you lose instantly that are predictable and random death. I mean, the first donkey kong game is one of the most brutally hard platformers in the history of the genre, but it's predictable. The problem with this game is that sometimes, you just die. Good games should never have a 'Oops, you die now' mechanic. If the player dies, it should be because he/she did something wrong, not because the game decided that it was death time.

iam not having any problems quit complaining "oh its to random" ITS RAIN OF COURSE ITS RANDOM! then you could just memorize the pattern and go through the levels with ease

Wow, only 2 likes. WHO could have predicted that? *coughs* the creator *coughs* The rain speed changes too much, almost no predictability to where it will fall, but I still barely managed to finish

715,000 first playthrough... 90% of my deaths were from random unpredictable and ONE HUNDRED PERCENT unavoidable rain. I LOVE hard games, but it becomes pointless when it's random. Randomness MINIMIZES player skill, when even the BEST PLAYER has to rely on luck to not die. This game would be much better if drops were somewhat predictable, instead of spawning where there is no way to avoid them. -_-
I'm not saying this game takes no skill at all, but the amount of luck required basically turns this into "I'm going to have to keep replaying from the start over and over JUST to get a good random spawn sequence of drops through ALL of the levels to get a score that reflects my skill."

This game relies way too much on random luck then actual player skills. That kinda brings the games replay value down greatly =/ One finished playthrough and i doubt i would play this again.

To quote something I really like "Dying all the time is all right, but I wish the game killed me more." That pretty much sums up this game.

I had to post a comment for this game. I thought is was one of the best flash games I've played. Not in terms of replayability or length of game. But everything else about it was awesome. The music was just right I thought, but would have maybe liked different music for different areas. Two Thumbs up to the developer. Am looking forward to more of your games or maybe even expand on this one. You have a fan.

I hate how everyone's saying it sucks because it's random. Well, the rain is random, but that's the one thing that would make this challenging and fun. I mean, if the rain fell in a distinct pattern, it wouldn't be as fun, right? I think that this developer will make good games, hopefully ones that aren't as disliked, and good job on the pixel graphics. 4/5, but only because I couldn't see what level I was on and you didn't use up for jump.

The fu-k? Most frustrating game overall. 1/5
It's so random that it's impossible to plan any kind of jump at all and overall when I died it wasn't because of mistakes but just the game being so random it's impossibly to play almost.

First of all, I want to stress that I did not like meat boy. It was a headache waiting to happen, IMO, and I only played for a bit.
Now I want to say that I much preferred meatboy to this. Why? Because meat boy requires skill, not endless amounts of luck. This game expects you to dodge rain that comes from anywhere and everywhere, following no particular pattern.
If you're going to make a game hard, make it so that it actually requires skill to beat, not luck. Some times you might find yourself stuck on a platform that you have to jump to escape a zombie.
Oh, wait! You CAN'T jump?
And why not? Because a rain drop decided to appear right above you. Oops.

wow this game is frustrating as hell some lvls at least...others not hard but SOME lvls time acid and zombie hands/reg zombies so you need not only emmense platforming skill but luck....anyway I ragequited LOL

I love a difficult platformer, but when the difficulty comes from randomness rather than the need for timing/aim/control, there's just no fun to it.

If I might make a request, use the up arrow for jump instead of x. And probably provide the wasd controls for people who prefer that. Better yet, let us customize our controls.
