Game was insanely fun but also insanely easy which is why it won't get out a 5/5. I bought the 2 money upgrades before the 1st boss and the final gun was my 3rd gun. There was no motivation but achievements to continue buying items and after beating the game I didn't care to use my 2 new characters or the 2 unused ones.

stopped playing after got the best gun, all the non weapon upgrades, and got stuck waiting for my 110294th slow moving platform in an unchallenging uninspired room. plus, no story either. wheres the motivation? 2/5

Game is a lot of fun. However, the pulse rifle needs to be more expensive. I had one by the beginning of the second chapter.

nice game and really fun, felt a little bit like a NES megaman... too easy though, getting the last weapon on 1st level was really easy and as someone said, the heroes should have different settings... it could use some humorous comments from the characters and the enemies also should say something, mainly the bosses.
i really hope to see a ver. 1.1 with more features...

This is one of the few shooter platformer's that I've really enjoyed. I liked that I could continue with any character so I could just replay the last boss fight with the different characters to get that achievement rather than having to play the entire game again with each character. I would also like to see badges for this game! Keep up the good work! :D

Little advice: When the player dies, he keeps the money. Make the money that the player collected in the stage reset, because you can easily farm gold coins this way, and buy the best things even faster.

a bit too easy, goes way too fast to get upgrades if you get the 2 books first. It was fun tho, wouldnt mind some more upgrades and more levels. Different characteristics for the different characters, double jump etc would be quite nice too. Loved the graphics and the music, the latter got kinda repetative in the end but still good. :)

amazing game but its easy for the player to lose interest because there isn't much change in gameplay and you can easily buy everything without much hassle. tweak it a bit, take our advice, and you'll have yourself an amazing game.

Nice graphics, great controls, but utterly boring in both graphics (levels look only like pallete swap of others), level design (levels are just a collection of giant boxes with platforms between them or some decoration) and game design (game is in some aspects annoying, like how much it take to kill stuff in general, yet is very easy to buy the beast weapon outright on the start).

Due to my own experiences and the notes of other players this is the summary:
The mobs and the bosses are indeed well done and gives you a challenge. some of the best mobs i have seen in a platform game like this.
the maps are most of the time the same. no real difference or difficulty.
And the worst part is the coin system. i got the best gun when i was fighting the first boss so it is no real challenge. all in all 3/5 better luck next time.

It would also be nice if I had to work to get the achievements. I got them all in one playthrough without looking at what they were.

It's a great start. Solid all around, but I had best gun and all upgrades at the start of the cemetery. Just made things too easy. Instead of a wide variety of weapons, how about weapon types with specialized damage? Certain mobs hurt by certain things, etc. Good fun, but doesn't make you want to keep playing after you max out.

I don't normally like platform games, but this one reminds me of the classic Nintendo platformers Super Mario, Metroid, and Megaman. Excellent work.

3/5 -- 3 because who doesn't love a platformer. Only 3 because its WAY too easy. That and the theme of the game suggests there's should be something special of our random heroes. As it turns out, there is nothing special about our random heroes. They're all the same :-/

how to kill enemies on higher ground: this works if there is an additional block on the ground. jump and shoot towards your enemy. your shots will hit it.

The bosses should be alot harder... Its pretty easy to defeat the final boss with the worst weapon without getting hit... Otherwice a very nice game.

More weapons, or make it so that you have to buy the previous one first, also add some way to know which maps have skulls on them and if you've got them or not.

Charming art and infectious music, but by the opening of Chapter 3 I'd got full armour, the pulse laser, and all the books, and sort of felt like the game had shown me all it had to show.

finished the game, all achievements in 55 minutes. far too easy, but i would love to see a more challenging sequel. Characters with different perks would be fun too.

Nice graphics. That aside, the game was way too easy, a bit too short, and didn't offer any variation. Different perks for different characters would have been fun - maybe even different endings! There should be something interesting about the weaponry; now the shotgun was the only gun with anything special about it. And even the biggest gun wasn't that powerful... Maybe add some grenades, hm? But props for making the game. Soak up all the advice and suggestions, and your next game should be a kicker.
