For anyone that does not know this takes place in a little event you might have heard of called World War 1. Yes, World War 1 happened, it may be a shock that there is a war that is not a Call of Duty game.

Good game but improvements are needed to make it great. Increased customisability would be nice being able to chose from more men and guns and being able to upgrade your main sniper woul be great 4/5

If Rebuild had a minigame for when the stronghold was under attack, this is what I'd expect it to look a little bit like. It does get too easy in the later stages though - by level 12 I wasn't even firing my own shots as my MGs were effective enough, the introduction of more powerful zombies having minimal impact, and I hadn't even made a single use of the artillery. Ramp up the difficulty, fix the typos, add a few more upgrades [everyone on Kongregate loves upgrades] and it'll become a lot more engaging.

Nice game, kinda like Mud and Blood 2 but with less brutality and unfairness (poor zombies have no way of throwing nades or calling arty so they can't land one in a middle of your trench one-hitting your entire squad). Also legless sprinter zombie is weird.

Starts out fun, but gets very repetitive and boring after the first couple levels. Suggestions: Units should level up, W and D should move left and right, and 1,2,3... should select the mortar to fire.

"And so, we must have a dramatic game description, for this description makes the game seem twice as interesting as it actually is..."

Now, this game describes "Potential" more than a dictionary. The style, the bullet hits, movement, screen scrolling, I love it, very good. As a game, pretty awful AT THE MOMENT! I have 2 comments with constructive criticism, not enough. I would advise, like many others, a change in scenery. It is repetitive. To increase difficulty, perhaps have a storyline where "Events" can unlock weapons for you, different enemies, perhaps even a gun with a scope! SO much potential, do not let this make you give up, your nearly there. 4/5 for POTENTIAL!

Well, I like the game, but all my men died after halfway through the level and I had to pick them off myself, so I suggest that the men don't die after 1 hit from an enemy.

so....i was wondering why the french RIFLE (key word is rifle) has a better rate of fire than a mg? i would really like an answer on that one

This game is best to be compared as gum: It has plenty of flavor starting, but it tends to lose it quickly. This game is the same. Fun starting it, but it lost its touch after level 3.

Good game, the accuracy system is near flawless which is very nice compared to other games. Kind of reminds me of Cod: World at War Zombies. =D

I liked this typo in Kirley's message: "He says the only way to see fort Carveola and neutralize the TREAT is to move..."

It needs to let you go back to the purchasing screen after you lose a match. Honestly, if you keep losing that round with several different placements and still can't beat it, then you NEED to be able to buy and sell some things.

Just realize how the soldiers would be scared; An unstopable force of men crawling at you, without guns nor emotions, unable to feel pain and having no other goal in life than to kill you. Just imagine the blanks stares coming up to you, ready to enslave you to death's grasp if you look away for one second. The worst of all, they won't stop coming. They won't stop going up against you, even when you kill them. They will still walk the scarred earth, trying to find yet another soul to kill and convert to their masses. They are the bodies of thousands, all of them dead throughout the war, and they won't stop coming until every one of them is down.

Ok, so the game is complete-able using the Springfield, 12 m.g., the howitzer, mortar, and a couple extra riflemen that can hold off the last lvl. all day. Too bad that once you finally assemble a decent force the game is pretty much over. Half the challenge stages don't even tempt me...beyond 1, 4, 5. Oh I'm sure if you want to "replay" 900 times, that eventually you may just finish them all, but I found it's not worth the cussing, there's just way too much space to cover with inadequate resources, to be any fun. Yeah, it's also too bad that along with the feature to leave comments, there aren't any options to erase or modify your comments, once posted. Anyway, I'll call it 4 stars.

@tacoterminator in WW1 they did have fully automatic weapons...lots of them. The Germans had a good submachine gun, the french a decent automatic rifle, and everyone had the maxim, from the ottomans to the americans.

feels unfinished. could use some paper rock scissor mechanics... maybe ability to spend money on traps/barricades. upgrading system would be awesome too. as a stand alone its a decent game, can be awesome. the storyline is damn decent.

Love the concept and echo the suggestions made by others regarding variety. The artillery was a bit underwhelming though. Maybe ease up on the film grain effect - limit it to the cutscenes and you'll still get the same feel. Solid 4/5. More arcade-style elements would up the fun.

It wasn't that tough, but I liked the concept. I think A_Man53 got a lot of the things I thought down. Good game. I hope to see a second with those improvements.

but the reason its a 5/5 is 3 of thought comes from the sory line i was more intrested in reading the reports than fighting honestly plus if u agree
