One of the metal crawlers got to my base and started to take a cow... assumed i was fine as it still had a mile to run back. as it died it became invincible and stole my cow

First of all, the player is just thrown into the game. He doesn't know he has to create a maze. Secondly, tower selection doesn't disappear after tower placement. Thirdly, this is okay work for an amateur that wants to stay in his mothers basement and earn 30k a year. 3/5

IF ITS TOO HARD - this game becomes so much easier once you realize how insane a fully upgraded turret is, I (like many other TD junkies I presume) assumed it was linear upgrades but it's exponential, a fully upgraded basic turret does over a thousand damage, a fully upgraded machine gun can easily solo levels 1-6. I didn't have to start actually building mazes until lvl 11+ once I knew that.

The research curve is not well balanced yet.
Normally, you should be able to improve your position by research until the last level.
But you finish researching everything by level 5 and then there is no more possibility to make things easier.
You should add the option to imrpove every single research further. Let's say you can add 5% of effect at a prize that is rising every time you buy it, so that you get slower and slower researching stuff, but at least you can improve and your research credits are good for something.

this could have more consistent difficulty, 1st level to easy then the 2nd level feels like the last part of ninja gaiden!! WTF???

why do the aliens always target the cows? we have almost 999 million cows on this planet, why do we have only 10? a big farm has more than 150 of them. and why have they travelled across galaxies just to get those stupid fat animals that (when female) they have a stupid pink tumor like blob under their bellies.

make psi tower and sell(if you have the first tower built level two research) then maze with cheap tower and then upgrade maze=win everytime

get the two research grants (left-side logistics tree) as soon as possible then farm first level. you pull 150 upgrade points each time. easy way to upgrade everything fast.

5 stars -- excellent game I've really enjoyed playing. Minor issues: I was disappointed that the game balance seems to be focused primarily on creating a maze for creatures to walk through rather than on effective/strategic upgrades. I'd like it to be a combination of both so that you create the maze to give more powerful units more time to work on the invaders. There were also a lot of towers that didn't seem to be particularly necessary to the game itself -- they felt like afterthoughts, especially when many levels really just called for the basic level 1 tower.

If you can't change target priority how about have it defaulted to aliens with cows considering thats the whole point of the game.

So, you can buy and sell at the same price. Pretty sweet and I haven't been absolutely abusing that at all. Create a line of turrets, seal 1 end and leave the other open. Sell the sealed end when the enemy is about to reach the open end then put a turret at the previously open end, the enemy will walk toward the now open hole at the other side. Rinse, repeat. Unending maze of death.

This game would be so much easier if I could simply change target priorities. Ex: Strongest, Weakest, Closest, Furthest.

simple stratagy make a long maze that when they are almost done you can sell one and build in their path ist so amusing
