It's a great game. I really love the re-playable New Game+ feature to it. because anything endless has endless replay-ability, therefore, potentially endless fun!

If you're going to lock something like an entire ending of the game behind a "make it to XYZ level without dying at all" clause, it's courteous to build your save system such that the player isn't forced to completely restart the game if they screw up once.

I'd like to thank you for making this game, it's been a few years since I completed Starwish but just glancing over it in my (rarely visited) favorites section made me reminisce about this beautiful impactful masterpiece.

This game is a once in a lifetime game that I always seem to find my way towards. The story is easy to follow, there are twists and turns in the story, the gameplay is very simple (in which I believe is a good thing). This game is a masterpiece on Kongregate and is one of my all time favorite games. I so want a sequel as well!

Just in case there's anyone else like me who wants to beat the prologue, on hard, on your first playthrough. It CAN be done. The mach gun is actually more reliable, as is mouse controls and auto fire. Top priority is overdrive orbs and shield orbs. Outside of that, don't even try to aim. Use slow gradual movements and simply dodge.

Extremely under rated game, and after almost 8 years later, this game still stands as having one of the greatest story plots of all time, for a flash game. I have no idea on the progress for Starwish 2, if you visit his website & read the FAQ, he frequently mentions the potential for a squeal but we still haven't got one. From what I was reading, the game wasn't initially successful at first as it didn't pay off his rent & etc. His been inactive for almost 4 years, so maybe one can hope for a squeal

Coming back to this beautiful game 8 years later in 2019. I think I speak for the entire community when I say a sequel would be spectacular.

The perk for explosive crits, doesn't actually add into the stat card to show, how often you can crit with your secondary weapons. Would be a nice change.

I would LOVE to make a sequel, but large games like this are a difficult sell. If you would like a sequel as well, please vote! Thank you so much!
dude.. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

I have played this game a while ago, so glad I found it again. Brings back memories. One of the best I have ever played and I am so glad to be here and enjoy and take in all the hard work put into this game. Thank you for one of the best games that I have played so far. Thank you.

Oh my god, people! THis was Avengers inifinty war alomst a decade before it came out. Think about it, both antagonists have to collect a mcguffin so that they can wipe out sentient life. Motives and outcomes are cslightly different but the overall story is the same.

Very good game, but some of the bosses (Drone Mothership, Living Heart) have huge blind spots in their shooting patterns where you can park your ship and just wait until it kills the boss.

Well, I've done it, very nice story, inspirational ending, very nice. The only problem for me were damage-flashing bosses.

FFS, i cant even see the boss. Its all fckn flashing like its new year's evening. That completely ruined this game for me.

It's funny but over the last 3 years I've played this game numerous times and I still love it and I still can't get enough of the storyline. Of all the games on Kongregate, I would rate this game as my #1 or #2 favorite next to or before Medieval Cop. You have outdone yourself xdanond and I would love a sequel even though it's been over 7 years. Thanks for the wonderful game and look forward to more.

I spent almost an hour trying to beat the tutorial boss (and I did. Yay, me!) before I figured out there's New Game Plus...

A side-scrolling space shooter with relatively original guns and a story worth listening to? I approve. So many times I tried to predict things. Sometimes they turned out true, sometimes they didn't, but even the most random details had some sort of hint to them before they were revealed. I won't claim the story is an amazing perfection of everything writing, but it's definitely worth checking out, combined with gameplay that can be considered decent at bear minimum and pretty good at maximum.

My review - Is this really a free game on Kongregate? Feels more like it's a $10 game on Steam. No, that would be an insult to this game and it's community... This game is definitely worth $20+. Very well done, devs. Very well done, indeed.

I came in thinking "I'm gonna play some side scrolling shooters tonight for a bit..." I literally starting playing this game more than 4 hours ago and I'm not done yet. (Also, only two in game achievements so far... lol)

I wouldn't hold out too much hope for SETI finding much. Space is a big place. And "close to Earth" could mean thousands of light years.

The briefest of all updates on the possibility of a sequel, xdanond was recently active on his twitter account posting a new character for a "secret project". Almost 7 years later, even if it isn't a sequel, it would still be another xdanond game.

Sequel or new concept I don't care, as long as the next game makes improvements and isn't a damn phone game I am happy, hopefully it is released this year, which might be the case with the reveal of info.
