I did not see the lag, but the grinding aspect is annoying for a badge of the day game. Should be able to decide to grind, not be forced to.

Was gonna get the badge of the day, but the game is so choppy I couldn't even play it. Tried to change the quality to see if that would help but I think that control is just for decoration....

I like the game but needs the option to lower quality so it does not lag. There is a Quality tab on the screen but it did not work.

This is really boring to me. Keep on grinding with barely any upgrades. The acheivements arnt even satisfying to get since the progress is always linear. Everytime you start the game you go back to zero. I dozed off 3 times trying to get the badge of the day, serious.

Needs a control system which actually controls you ship, instead of janking all over the place. Also: that GDC talk about screen-shake making everything better? Yeah, no. Just makes the game more annoying.

i like how the game starts before the instructions fully appear...i substained roughly 3 crash ins before the instructions for dodging popped up.

If you're experiencing lag, right click, go to settings, and switch storage to unlimited. Upvote this so everyone can see.

I played this in March of 2012 and it was fine, now it grinds my machine to a halt. Whatever you changed, change it back.

BOOOOOOORING! why give it wasd movement when you dont need it. all this game is is click mouse and hold and just move a little with the mouse.

worst frame per second ever ! thx for the tip, but no, i won't switch storage to unlimited : find the bug and fix it, please
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those having low frame rate issues there is a fix on the main menu screen. For some reason this game does not run well with standard local memory settings and the developer has posted a tip on how to make the game run smoothly.

it would be nice if the ship could be upgraded somehow... when the game advances and the enemies get stronger, you are as powerless as when the game started and you have to rely on power ups that never show up... which is very very frustrating.

incredible lag with chrome, sticky keys with ie. Unplayable this way and I don't think it's me cause i don't expierience any problems with other games

Quite a few modern Flash games tend to make me lag pretty badly. However, I can run this game fine with this low-end computer. I'm not sure why lots of other people are having so much trouble playing the game.

Nobody said anything about the ink splats doing poison damage over time! I've died several times in the open heading for a rare health power-up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Non-playable due to the "sticky key" effect (you take your finger off the key, but the game thinks you're still pressing it). Suggestion: Turn on auto-fire and have ship move toward the cursor when the mouse button is clicked.

seriously, if you looked at bottom at menu: "if you experience lag right click on setttings and set local storage to unlimited!" am I really the only one it worked for?

Been lagging since start of the week. Tried several times to get the BotD since it has been announced on monday but it was near impossible. Terrible idea to make this one BotD when the game is barely playable.

Impossible Badge, too bad... lagging too much... and changing the controls would be good, hard to move whith arrows and shooting with Mouse... I'm right handed, can't do all perfectly (arrows pad on the right of the keyboard !).

OMFG! Lower the max speed of the player, that's ridiculous. Why did the developer think it was a good idea to make it that fast in a game that gets progressively crowded and faster? When you get far enough to a high enough level you can't even grab powerups because you do a mile in circles around it, that is IF you don't hit anything, then you have to back off. Another thing, at the high enough levels when I'm dodging the cluster of tough enemies and ghosts that have built up because of LACK OF POWERUPS whos rate of appearance have strangely nosedived (not that I could get to them if they did appear), I noticed that quick enemies, mostly chargers, quickly appear coincidentally from the edges closest to me and in great number. Oh, and bravo to the idea of turning the final screen a dark red color effectively hiding any ink pools so I can barely tell they're even there. Thanks for that because the Insane wasn't difficult enough. These are why developers need to play their own games.
