so i thought it would be fun to play a round with magic, eventually ran out of mana so i decided to just switch back to the compound bow, however neither w nor e nor i were working so i ran around helpless while ice giants pummeled me to death, please fix

If you don't know how to open inventory: turn Caps Lock off. I know, silly bug, but it really don't work for both 'I' and 'i'.

This game incorporates some of my least favorite mechanics, especially the way the store works. There shouldn't be that much of an increase in the price of health potions UNLESS they're better health potions, and lower (and cheaper) upgrades should still be available in case you don't have the funds needed for the new version, but still need just a bit of an upgrade.

Once muted, the game needs to STAY muted. Even on reload. Scared the heck outta me! Great game so far. Will comment more when I play more.

Here's a tip for getting the badges easily. Do whatever you want, and get 100 achievements. After that, you can hold Shift and press your Right Arrow (Hint says Shift + Right, but it's not Right Click) - It opens up the cheat menu. Pick the ones you want, then you can easily win the game and get the last badge.

Wow. These controls are terrible. I was just shooting and suddenly it went off the screen for some reason, I couldn't aim, and when I tried to shoot it changed to a new page.
These controls suck.

This game is overwhelming, the instructions were rather poor, the music isn't really fitting at all. I don't like the concept of having to upgrade each weapon, then have all it wasted when you get the next bow. It should be made clearer in the game that potions get more expensive as you move on. I got my 200 kills, I'm out. 2/5.

Ok ok ok, so this game isn't that bad. First of all, I recommend a grinding scheme (replaying past levels) to make the game more accessible. Secondly, IF YOU WANT THE BADGES, try this:
Play campaign up to 40 achievements (I promise this part goes quickly). Unlock maximum money, and beat a level. Fill your inventory with a ton of the most expensive item, then turn off the cheat. Enter the next level and die. Choose not to continue, and load your game. All your money and items will still be there, but you can earn achievements again. + if you found helpful. ^.^

The amount of bugs in this game equals that of enemies. Not sure why the dev never took the time to debug this otherwise promising game, nor do I know why Kong gave badges to this bugfest. 2 stars for the effort, the rest should be in beta.

you may find it helpful to know that you can effectively grind/farm in the boss levels. just don't kill the boss, and minions come indefinitel, so you can get as much exp and as many drops as you like. then just buy LOADS of hp potions early on using the money you get from this, and the game becomes very easy...

Also it would be nice if the targeter was some other colour apart from white. It's a bit hard to see sometimes on the ice levels

There should be an auto-fire option so I do not have to hold down the left-click on my touch pad while trying to aim.

TIPS: Upgrade speed with your initial points. This allows you to outrun the mobs and you can farm XP/Gold at each boss level. I left level 10 with just under 100k gold and 3 level ups. I suggest leveling speed to 3, then armor to 3 (so your Health Pots are more efficient), then Skill to 3 and then max speed, armor, and skill. Only upgrade Health after all other skills are maxed. Don't upgrade any bows but the ones that shoot 3 arrows. If you farm enough XP from boss levels you can easily max out 2 bows. If you're really good at not killing the boss too early, you could max out 3 bows, but that would be crazy XP farming skills :) Oh, buy armor after boss battles (when you have a bunch of coin) and then only buy Health pots :) cheers!

1)Buy heals early. Bosses are every 5 lvls. Prices of heals go up on lvl after bosses. Play boss fights for money. DO NOT KILL BOSS. Kill the spawns for experience and drops (open inventory and sell pickups during fight). Should have 200+ heals after 2nd boss 2)You can beat ENTIRE GAME -EASILY- without using bombs, spells, or melee weapons. I only bought heals, lvl 3 and 5 armor, and Dark Bow. 3) Save enchantment points. Can use 11 points and still max out Dark Bow. 4)All character upgrades are equally important. Damage helps with crowd control, speed and armour help reduce damage, health...is obvious. I upgraded fairly evenly throughout course of game.

Huh?! I'm playing the game, nothing wrong and then the cursor isn't moving properly, it keep lagging and I end up dying in 5 seconds! Why does it do this? Nothing is wrong with my mouse and my internet is working fine!

For those trying for the Badge of the Day, I have two words - "Survival Mode".' All kills there count, although they take a minute to load, and there isn't as much lag, so you can actually get the badge.

The game looks promising, but there's a lot of small issues with it. Many have already be pointed out by other people, but I want to add something: the inventory. Why do I have to guess which bow is better just from its image (when my mouse hovers over it, tell me the name; preferably, tell me stats, so I can compare currently-equipped vs. newly-dropped). Let me sell (and equip) stuff while I'm in the shop. On a non-related note, why do potions become more expensive later on, without becoming more powerful...!?

"Sticky" keyboard controls are not acceptable. My character kept walking directly into danger despite my efforts to have him stand still.

This game is too laggy even on low quality with storage at max. For a top down, simple ai shooter, with poor graphics, this was terrible. thanks for making this a badge of the day, Kongregate.

TIP. I like Eddi_ed's strategy. To go more hardcore with it lol. Use the first boss stage to your advantage. Shoot only the enemies and if you can avoid damage long enough the boss gets stuck on the rocks all over the place and you can just pwn loads of enemies for gold while the pots still cost only 50 gold each :) + to share

After many rage-quits I have finally completed this game. I cannot recommend Eddi_ed 's strategy highly enough, it is invaluable when it comes to completing this game. To start with it may seem a bit off, but seriously, once you can afford that final bow his strategy makes complete sense. Also, don't give up if you run out of continues. I used to think it meant that's it forever and you're properly dead, but it isn't -- you can still load a save, and you get three continues for that level repeatedly. With this in mind, be much more tactile in how you use your potions! Best of luck!

Good game until level 25 when the game takes you to inventory screen for no reason and freezes. The health potions go up in price as you progress through the game so stock up early and there's plenty of bow and arrow drops so don't waste $ on them just stock up arrows for bosses. Also on the bosses you can keep them alive killing adds and grind out some $ and exp.

The game would be a lot more fun if it didn't just randomly lock up. Of course, I know it's as old as Flash so it's pretty forgivable at this point.
