Who exactly had the genius idea that everything beyond a longbow should fire two arrows, neither of which is actually aimed at the place where you click?!?

Where to begin...your sound resets regardless of choices prior, so when I load a game where I muted it, I GO DEAF. On top of that, the options don't really update unless I click a stat I may want to increase, and above all else, do the Rock Monsters REALLY need to explode in a color that is similar to the ground they're standing on, making it REALLY difficult to see their projectiles flying at me?

It's funny how so many comments are getting so many bad votes when in fact most of them are correct, this game felt like it was just thrown together and you guys know it was. It would be a 5/5 type of game if there weren't so many things wrong with it, exp; Pressing 'I' then pressing 'P' will not close your inventory menu but the game continues and you will get attacked, the achievement list is very confusing, the shop (I would like to get my other achievements like buying the armor I missed so arrow buttons wouldn't hurt), the create your own map (there are more than one) 1: The X, Y, Z, ect doesn't work or at least I couldn't get it to. 2: If you click on an item or thing (it turns grey) and leave there will be a ghostly imprint stuck on the game (you'll have to refresh), the fact when you level you don't get refills (as I stated before which got a ton of bad votes for some reason), the cursor lag, the mute doesn't stay mute. That pretty much sums it up.

1) buy tons of heals early;
2) use boss levels to make easy money (do not kill the boss; farm the minions);
3) if they don't shoot at you or move too fast, use melee (don't waste a good arrow);
4) reload from a save to complete achievements (buy thingamagic X);
5) use decor to your advantage;
6) don't spend your upgrade points on early gear;
you can make easy kills on the 3rd boss using an axe.

The amount of bugs in this game equals that of enemies. Not sure why the dev never took the time to debug this otherwise promising game, nor do I know why Kong gave badges to this bugfest. 2 stars for the effort, the rest should be in beta.

The only change I would like to see is the cursor's color during ice stages. The white cursor is impossible to be noticed on the white snow/ice. Btw, congratz for including a survival level editor in your game; despite some of its features don't work yet (rotating, scale etc.) level designers like me don't recieve any lvl editors to mess with very
often.

finished the game with bow/crossbow....then went back and used melee weapons and I must say...the melee weapon dmg is obsurd and makes it a lot easier.

After first run though, for kicks, I didn't spend money on anything but arrows and health potions. Kept the first bow all the way though, didn't buy any armor. It was much more challenging, but pretty fun. :)

you may find it helpful to know that you can effectively grind/farm in the boss levels. just don't kill the boss, and minions come indefinitel, so you can get as much exp and as many drops as you like. then just buy LOADS of hp potions early on using the money you get from this, and the game becomes very easy...

Once muted, the game needs to STAY muted. Even on reload. Scared the heck outta me! Great game so far. Will comment more when I play more.

Why do I randomly teleport across the screen when I get hit? This seems way buggier on Kongregate than it was on Armor Games.

So I don't get full health and full magic when I level? I'm sorry but that's how I thought level ups work. So many things could have went better then they did. 3/5 because I still find some enjoyment out of this.

I love how I obtained this game's badges in 2009, yet the strategy guide link still says it's coming soon. LOL, still 5/5. Lower the quality if you're lagging -- my computer from 2004 plays this just fine -- and don't forget to save.

A good game, really, just has some technical errors that need to be worked out. The biggest problem that I have with the game is that it is just too easy to beat with little or no stress. For those of you who are stuggling, even a little bit, listen well: to do fantastic, only buy bows. Yup, no meele weapons, no magics, and a few health potions, preferable early in the game as the price increases exponentially. Save up money and bow points so that in the final area you are able to afford the dark bow and dark armor, spending the rest of your money on what should be a hearty stash of health potions, as you will need them for the final boss. After that, use only magic for more achievements and a greater challenge. After that, use only melee. Play survival afterwards. Doing all of these is guaranteed to get even a mediocre gamer the bagdes.

Very poorly designed. Unable to get back to menu from save screen without committing suicide, which I did without knowing what was going on. I also dislike how we are unable to purchase items from prior sections.

1)Buy heals early. Bosses are every 5 lvls. Prices of heals go up on lvl after bosses. Play boss fights for money. DO NOT KILL BOSS. Kill the spawns for experience and drops (open inventory and sell pickups during fight). Should have 200+ heals after 2nd boss 2)You can beat ENTIRE GAME -EASILY- without using bombs, spells, or melee weapons. I only bought heals, lvl 3 and 5 armor, and Dark Bow. 3) Save enchantment points. Can use 11 points and still max out Dark Bow. 4)All character upgrades are equally important. Damage helps with crowd control, speed and armour help reduce damage, health...is obvious. I upgraded fairly evenly throughout course of game.

This has some sort of bug on saving, gets locked up by some JS script on Kong, once the script it killed it constantly brings up the Flash local memory storage box and says saved repeatedly. Nice game, but too buggy to be playable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i thought the game was pretty decent if you cant figure out what you should be upgrading then thats your fault lol the only problems i have with it is the ice lvls its hard to see your cursor and the shop items are hard to buy when you have to keep buying potions and there arent enough lvls to make money for the bows or armor other than that good job

>.> beat all 25 levels without knowing i could press i to get into my inventory, how stupid of me. that would have made the game a little easier.

and "retry" sent me back to first level with no upgrades... I do not like the type of games that force you to re-load saves over and over with no improvements. Its a vicious boring cycle.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good idea but my the player control was so bad I couldn't play. The character would just start running in whatever direction and I would have no control
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
is there something wrong with my keyboard? the controls are horrible locking me moving in one direction, no reason seems to be for it.

The developer promised it was worth the wait...I totally disagree. Back to the drawing board for this game! Take the badge of the day and go play something fun!
