Found an exploit. First, get a large amount of money (if you unlocked level 30, you can play it 2 or 3 times to get $40000). Play one more level, beat it, then spend all your money. Enter another level, click pause, then exit to main menu. When you enter back in, you should have your money back and you keep your upgrades.

The ending is so bad... I just killed the normal turtle and it was over... no ending text no final boss it was just over in a second...

WTF? Take a peck at a turtle... NOT kill it... then run to the furthest turtle, wasting lifetime AND DO IT AGAIN with that turtle.... Your AI is a total lack of intelligence.

A couple of easy things you should do to make your game a lot more fun: 1) Improve the radius for collecting money - don't bother with magnet. 2) Hotkeys for special abilities so they aren't ALSO reliant on the mouse. Cheers!

Wow. This game is just not fun at all. All the buttons are incredibly small, the screen transitions are slow and out of place, and it's just an overall unintuitive game. I hardly need a tutorial when the game plays itself. I don't need hand-holding when all I have to do is collect the money dropped and use that to buy upgrades. I could figure that much out myself. I'm just here for the badge of the day. Got it and now I'm out of here.

...Immediately after posting that I realize that there is in fact a mute button. But it's a true mute, no volume change. Still one star.

Well, I played for about half an hour, can't really say that's not a fair shake for a free flash game. After that time, I have decided to retain my initial judgement of "boring and pointless, requires no skill whatsoever, and heavily luck-dependent on top of the grind." Also, no mute button. One star.

A fun game but a couple evident common complaints make the grind less fun around the 2nd badge.
1. Collecting money.
2. Penguin AI, they like to get stuck on obstacles
3. Hotkeys, there aren't any, but there are 4 skills and you're expected to move your mouse around to collect money.

I am confused...Is the game about killing turtles or is all about collecting the big colored balls? Because it seems to be the only things you have to care about!
Also: lvl30 I earn about 13k, lvl32 just 5k...there's something wrong in the system..
P.S.: at least implement hot keys!

Pretty early on this becomes dot collection: the game. Moving around the mouse to collect money becomes the main interaction of them game. Most of the time I don't even notice the turtles or the penguins. Just collecting overwhelms most of the game.

I think you picked the wrong kind of animal for the antagonist in this game. I don't like this game because I love turtles. Turtles are awesome, how could anybody consider them an enemy. You didn't even make them look mean, they are just nice little turtles. What's up with that!

A few concerns:
Why do the eggs fade?
Why can turtles shoot through obstacles? Are they only there to demonstrate the penguin's bad pathing?
Why aren't the 'powers' attached to hotkeys? IT makes me decide between putting all of my effort into tediously collecting fading eggs or giving my penguins a chance to win.

5/5 Gameplay. -1 for stupid money collecting. -1 for making the money disappear/levels end too quickly to collect. -1 for making no upgrades to your collecting ability. Final score: 2 stars.

Really not sure why all the complaints. Penguin gets stuck behind a wall, blow up the turtle he is locked onto in order to release the lock. Collecting money complaints? Pay attention to which levels have the highest yield. Didn't even need max of everything to win. For a short basic game I thought it was pretty decent.

Definitely need an upgrade to collecting money. Preferably a radius so it doesn't have to go to the EXACT tip of your mouse.

Interesting concept completely ruined by the bad pathing. here's a hint: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A*_search_algorithm

In an otherwise great game, penguins walking into walls when there are enemies RIGHT NEXT TO THEM and DYING because they are too stupid to do anything else is just too annoying. Then money disappearing because you have to move the mouse exactly over-top of the eggs just adds to the frustration. These seem more arbitrary than mechanical because there is NO WAY around them other than bombing the turtles on the other side of the wall - meaning you miss out on collecting more money because you have to spend time clicking the bomb.

The music is an audioclip from newgrounds which is a remix of the theme from battling the mysterious figure from KH BBS

The rate at which money is disappearing is way too quick on later levels - i am missing a lot of it. BUT the starving mechanic makes me rush levels.

it's so annoying that my penguins always get stuck in a corner of some obstacles because of a turtle on the other side so the i bomb that turtle, then like 10 second later it gets stuck in another corner because of the same shit happened again

1) no hotkeys? 2) magnet or a bigger radius colect. 3) i was waiting a final boss u.u 4)brain update? chasing an enemy in 30 yards where the is one next to him. 5) compleate the game with zombies Penguin, no need for any part of robot so it looks a little useless and endless mode or something to motivate you to continue playing and upgrade the Penguins will be nice :)

"100% mouse controlled." Why though? It would've been a lot better with shortkeys. The money system is so terrible that I can't elaborate, or this comment'll get too big. The obstacles just make this reliant on luck, and only up the difficulty in an annoying way. Beside that, this game isn't that creative or interesting to make up for its flaws, so it gets a 2/5.
