great game but a bit too easy, grapple is nice but stone skin is redundant because it's already too easy to hold shoot to kill them and then you cant speed up because it makes it too easy to clear 2 platform in one jump.

Splendid! (:P)
Let's just the same thing as everyone else: "Sequel, sequel, sequel!"
Liked it a lot. Not too easy and it is more interesting than Canabalt. But as said by some others, could use even MORE variety! 5/5 to boost developers morale for next episode. :D

Being invulnerable when running fast makes the enemies pointless...and you should almost always be running at full speed (pulling back to make some jumps). Throwing stars and hit points are redundant given that.
The double jump and the grappling hook both need work (double jump doesn't always work, and the grappling hook lets go too quick). Remove invulnerability when at full speed and hit points to make enemies a threat.
4/5 'cuz I love Canabalt. :)

I was originally going to give this a 5/5, but knocked it down to a 4/5 for a couple of reasons. The grappling hook controls are very frustrating, and only seem to work well at all on high speed. Sometimes I double jump when I thought I had tagged the ground; very frustrating when you fall in a pit expecting to be able to double jump. This seemed especially true after grappling. Also, I found the game much more difficult running at normal speed versus high speed. This was mostly due to grappling, and not enemies - holding down C basically ensures you'll kill them all.

Great game, great fun, great addition to the Canabalt genre. There's only some little things that aren't clear after playing the tutorial:
It isn't quite clear the first times, but the grapple isn't automatic. It works when you're holding the jump button, X. Also, the Stone Skin effect that comes from going fast basically means that you kill enemies by just touching them.

i thought this was an amazing game. it got rather repetitive after a few thousand points though... also, to all u people complaining about grapple, just dont hold the arrow key, if u time it, the grapple can like launch you so far and pretty high aswell. im lovin the background music also. if u make a sequel with less repetitiveness, and maybe different monsters or make it harder, i would easily give it 5/5... for now; 4/5. great game and good luck with the sequel!

Nicely done game. But if i run 3k -4k it gets boring. Would be cool if there is a nother terrain or something. And i didn't need to use shuriken... 4/5

@ Weredeer. Why would they introduce the grappling in the tutorial? You do nothing to activate it.. so there is no need to explain how it works, because it works automatically

Useing shuriken is pointless so long as you are good, and i have proof. I tried a run without shuriken, and i did not take ANY damage, thanks to the invincibility during speed up, until 4500 points, and that was because i wanted to see if it was possible to take damage at all =O. If you don't use shuriken, your computer will thank you with the reward of 0 lag.

id say make different levels with varying difficulties (this being the easiest level) have more enemies and advanced units later, maybe some awards to get/upgrades or something. this could easily turn into a full length game

Game is good, no mute button, no challenge and bad music XP makes this bad. I say 3/5 is this but your the first ever to make the shooter/canabalt reaction there and that makes the 3 points. 3/5 is still good though... Right? Just make it a little bit more challenging, like enemy ninjas actually SHOOTING NINJA STARS.

Hi guys! There is no game on Earth that can compete with Canabalt. It's simply the greatest. And I didn't even tried to. Canabalt established a new genre and I just wanted to make a new game in that genre. I've added to this concept a lot of stuff (shooting, double jump, grappling hook, shield, slowing down, speeding up, achievements) and was concentrated on making a game with more fun than tense. Canabalt has completely different feel. And I love it. And I just hope that players who likes runner games will enjoy Ninja Run as well. Cheers!

I hated Canabalt because it set up things that you couldn't possibly achieve without warning (which it did not give you). This has gone too far the other way. There's just no challenge.

I think it's way too easy...why aer you invincible when running fast? Unlocking all of the achievements is easy as well. I loved Canabalt, though.

you captured the addictingness and gave more variety than canabalt but in my opinion canabalt still is the prettiest of this genre

JustBilly, the game was stolen yesterday and uploaded by some idiot. I contacted admins and they removed it from his account. Today I uploaded it by myself. That was not for the rating. :(

Fun game, but far too easy. There is nothing to stop you from just holding down C while you run and jump. I ran over 1000km before I saw another ninja (though I had got the "Kill 4" award before then.

i like this game but in my opinion it´s getting boring after a while. unfortunately this game has not the "thrill" of canabalt. well, but it´s quite a good game. 3/5 stars from me.

bugs: lag when running quick, enemys lose hit detection (Ground) if you die. other ways to improve: new enemys ("jumpers" or "shooters" maby) new ground (wall/obstacle, trap(crumbling ground) and somethig to keep intrest besides acheivements, such as changes of scenery/season) i hope this helps your game, hope it has the best of luck. =)
