the only bad thing is if one of your pack of troop die it gain no (or few) xp ,then it harder a lot the next game but if you stand with all (restart when 1 troop die) the entire game you can enjoy your horse X).

Guys! Keep in mind, that bugs (bees, maggots) and enemy troops (goblins, black knights) are deadly enemies for each other! It can be handy in survival mode, when you have issues at getting the badge :) I used to keep my troops near the spawning area. Try to keep your rangers (archers, catapults) alive as longer as you can. Protect them by the melee fighters via surrounding them. Max the attack on the rangers and max the armor on the melee infantries. Rush down the necromancers with the knights, because they are fast and kill the high ranged necromancers in no time! That was a blast. I'd like to have seen a sandbox mode of sorts after you cleared the story that let you set up battles of your own. Place your units and the enemies and then let them fight. Would have been sweet.

Great opportunities wasted like this make me very sad. No one donated a single dollar for the crowdfunding campaign, I hope that didn't discourage the developers from creating games. yarg_ didn't connect log on Kongregate since February.

I would honestly love to see an mmo version of this, especially with this kind of developer. The gameplay reminds me of an older game (now dead) on Kongregate called battle conquest, which was the best mmo I have ever played, and was even better than many console and pc games I've payed for. I think if this dev, with this kind of gameplay could easily make a game of that caliber, and could make a heck of a lot of money while not being one of the money sucking devs we see so often now.

LOL one of my spearman teams on the lvl "Sunshine with a chance of trolls" they were rapidly stabbing dead body. LOL!!! press + if you got a laugh from this or this happened to you.

This game is just so good. Simple tactics with lots of action and a nice upgrade system. The only things I'd like to see more of is:
- Options to customize the units. For instance, be able to upgrade their size independently from attack and defense.
-A pause function. It's a bit awkward to give orders to all units at once in Survival, when you start getting swarmed with 2-3 different kinds of enemies at once.
-More kinds of missions besides "kill all enemies". Defending NPCs, preventing enemies from destroying a castle, or even just reach a certain point of the map alive.

Fun game that would be twice as enjoyable with a simple tweak: show the stats of the squads. There is some variable that calculates damage dealt that increases when you upgrade weapons or increase a squad level. Please display that info! Part of the fun of a game like this is seeing your squads get stronger; working out if it's better to upgrade archer's weapons or infantry's armor, etc. How can one get excited when a squad goes from level 5 to 6 if they have no idea what the benefit is? More data is always more fun for a gamer in an RPG! Thanks for developing - great game play.

This game kinda reminds me of rome total war not cause graphics cause how you play how you setup troops to defend and thats kinda total was like.

This game should have a sequel, or a game where you play as the old king or the evil armies before all this happened. Either of those would be very interesting. + if you agree!

sequel is bound to be awesome! needs a much longer campaign though... would love it if you could have a hero unit to protect; but also have special abilities with it that are gained and grow more powerful as the leader levels. wish you the best of luck :)

This game is one of the best RTS games that I have ever played. I am glad that the game doesn't force you to pay to play, and it is still made by hardworking devs. Thanks for your game!

What might be useful is an option to tell units to "Stand Their Ground," and fight together and not move instead of randomly chasing enemy units around the map.
