couple suggestions: 1. remove manual coin pickup. 2. general upgrades, such as increased loot, moral bonuses, and increased squad size.

Fantastic game all around. I only found a couple issues. The main one is quite obvious... mouse over coin systems are RETARDED. Do away with it. The other is that there doesn't seem to be any advantage to rotation of the units... either way, they seek out their enemies automatically. I would throw in a little extra with the leaders of each unit. They could act as captains with certain abilities and/or stats. Then, you could throw in a few more mercenary units to chose from, giving the game a bit of an RPG feel. Just a thought.

The presentation is A+. All the visual aspects are above board. The weakness to me is in the complexity of controls. At this speed, it's easier to simply leave my troop in place rather than risk making a false move. A simple play-pause feature (think Total War) would definitely make this a winner. With just a few changes, I could see this game on Steam.

the game is nice.. but too easy... a single cavalry I can win almost all the scene... need more map or second chapter

Loved it. Just was a bit disappointed it was that short. Also maybe a bit more variety. Playing as the undead or even the thieves would have been awesome. I really enjoyed it, but this game has amazing potential.

Just started for the first time and played the first level. game looks interesting but won't be continue playing because of 1 thing and that is, collecting coins manually is 1 of the worst feature ever, at least in my opinion. I don't see how there's any fun in it for it to feature in a game.

Although earning money was not a problem later on, the lack of experience for replaying a mission is disappointing. As a completionist, I feel compelled to maximize the level of the characters, which is impossible in the game. If not for that reason, I would give it 5/5. As it stands, it just isn't as satisfying.

Gret basis for a game, but a few things that would make the game much more enjoyable would be - longer campaign, a board where you attempt to take enemy lands for specific bonus' and you're land may also be attacked each turn like in dynasty warriors empires, more upgrades for units rather than just armor and weapons, such as speed, tactics, endurance etc. game also could be a little more difficult such as instead of just running your troops to other troops need to be more tactical with flanking etc.

Awesome game, it is fun. Could use some fine tuning and some other features (example is a pause button and bigger maps). Just wanted to give the dev a little playful teasing on their one response to the best comments. A great commander is ready for any surprises because he has spies and scouts reporting enemy locations, even beyond the scene of the fighting. ;) Some sort of indicator that an enemy unit is coming would be nice. Even if it is only a few seconds prior.

Game looks like Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat and it's good. But there are some big problems. 1. Interface is awful, unit control is terrible. Really. Need to make hot keys for squad selection, for deselect and mouse selection for multiply squads. Also need show current squad and it direction a little more brightly. 2. Unit identification - player can't see difference between some type units in the battle. 3. Money. Can't understand why I must to collect money when fighting. Instead unit control I just move mouse around battlefield. Some invisible looters collect it?

Just completed it, one suggestion: when you click on a squad (i'm talking about ranged squads but anyway) you should have an option to move to a certain point but stop at attack range.

Only a few things I didn't like about this game:
1. I wasn't aware of what the levelling up did, needed to figure it out.
2. I couldn't select multiple squads at once.
3. There weren't enough levels to see what a level 6 squad of knights looked like!
Other than those, the game was awesome! Still giving it a 5/5, but consider those points for the sequel. ('Cause there HAS to be one!)

Uh oh, war tag, RPG tag, strategy tag. Oh thank God! No multiplayer tag. It's not another money sucking pseudogame that limits how much you can play unless you pay.

Dang man, this is a fantastic game! This is the first game in a while that I've enjoyed this much... honestly, I would love to see waaay more levels in this game. It would be cool to see some more unit customization.

I would suggest adding different flags for different squads. You can tell by the fact that they have different names that they are individuals, so why do they all fly the same exact flag? Moreso, it'd make it a lot easier to manage your armies if you could tell 2 similar squads apart.

Very good, although short game. Reminded me of the old school Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat game on DOS. Add another playable race, some more stats, more levels and possibly a skirmish mode and you've got a powerful game my friend.

Fun game 8/10, I agree with posts below about bigger maps. I wish the game was longer though. Maybe number 2 will bring in some new stuff. Here is an idea. Give us Mages to have spell abilities..

I'd love to see a Hordes and Lords 2
that has equipment for units ,
thats has a difficulty setting
Spell powers
more missions
Maybe some upgrades
NO mouse hover coin collecting system
More and bigger maps
Money items system maybe
More control over Building the Army

Reminded me of the Total War series, this was a very enjoyable game and I was sad when it was over. A couple of suggestions: 1. A longer campaign, I was a bit frustrated that I couldn't get all of my units to the maximum level. 2. Larger deploying areas on the later maps at least. 3. A sequel or and extra campaign where you could play as the various creatures that you fight mabye? and 4. Have you considered adding different terrains with various bonuses or penalties? For example, high ground which would give archers and catapults extended range or give infantry and cavalry bonus damage if they charge down hill, possibly even muddy ground which would slow movement and give a penalty to defense? Just a few ideas, good luck, I hope to see more game like this from you.
Thank you for you suggestions! They are all cool and we decided to add them all in a sequel: big maps, more units, several campaigns for different forces, terrains, mages, spells, better mechanics and tonn of other cool stuff. Enjoy this game and be ready for new one! ;-)

So I lose and I don't keep my coins that I collected? How am I supposed to progress if I can't manage to beat a level?
