These eyes, they long to kill you dead.
This mouth, it longs to crunch your bones.
The hurtin's on you dude
No way you'll get through dude
You started the game, now you're doomed. You're doomed.

Maybe a bit of a backstory would be great. If it would be possible to find some pages, pictures etc. to figure out why the ghost is there could be great. But it needs to be sublte, maybe leaving more than one possible explanation of what happend.

Just wanted to say keep up the great work. This game could be finished how it is, but it could use some improvements. A) Maybe a button that turns off the flashlight and makes it harder to be found. B)Crouch button C)A slightly bigger map. And finally it may be just me, but what exactly are the eyes used for.

Wow! I really enjoyed this game, I absolutely love how the items are randomized. I can say that i enjoyed this far more then slender, my only suggestion is that you should randomize where your person starts out at.

there also seems be not enough places to go. after running away from the ghost, you are usually back where you started and the ghost is blocking your path. It's very difficult to get past something in a one way hallway.

don't see how the ghost is that scary. i feel like the ghost is just too hard to run from though and that it is more of annoyance than something that is likely to actually scare me

Continued: C) there needs to be another staircase or some means of getting up and down the various floors. Having one staircase means the chances of the ghost being there is huge at any given time. D) Backstory plz. Ostensibly there was some sort of occult activity there with the upstairs, but I still would like to see elaboration on what's supposed to be going on. Hauntings always have juicy back stories. E) Gotta scary up that ghost yo! At first I was like "Oh boy..." with all the shaking and stuff, but it ended up looking pretty tame. It needs to be demonic and sinister. Make it bigger and darker. Give it scary eyes, bright red with black pupils. As it flashes closer when you're caught have it flash some kind of sinister grin with rows of sharp teeth. Just have it do something scary. Right now I mostly wonder what the heck it's supposed to do to us, the damn thing looks like a freakin' wind pixie looking to give us a quest.

A # of things: A) I kinda wish we had a little more explanation as to what exactly the ghost is capable of. There have been a number of times where I thought I was alright only to have him come sailin' into some room I thought I was safe in or chase me down when I thought he wouldn't know where I was. (I'm calling it a "he" just for ease of reference) B) I don't like how eyes work. Have you considered making them fill up a sort of energy bar, where you hit Q to start/stop? B/c the amount of time you need ranges from an instant to a few secs, but overall there simply aren't enough eyes. They aren't that individually useful to warrant such rarity. The reason I think a bar would be better is that then it wouldn't take a whole eye to look and recognize that it's not safe to leave a room followed by a whole separate 1 or even 2 to figure out when it IS safe. At least then the relatively small # would be more efficient. Need another box here...

So there I am, strolling around, thinking "yeah, this is a bit creepy, things moving, wouldn't say it's a horror game though". And then some monster thing attacked me, I was told to run, couldn't remember how, panicked and died. Good game!

It was a fun game but I was hoping for more ghosts and at least some sort of backstory as to why this place was haunted .-. 4/5

Damn! I've only played one other indie game like this that actually had me yell expletives during gameplay. You have some great stuff here. The lack of in-game music it perfect. Just surrounded by the games ambient sound was enough to have me continuously panning around me as I searched for the bags of money. Silence is golden. The first time I turned around and saw the 'eye' on the wall just sent chills down my spine. Beautiful work and awesome game! I can only imagine what else you have to serve us with. An easy 5!

I LIKE IT! Scary, atmospheric and very creepy ghost. My only recommendation is perhaps a bit more story or info to the game. But that is just personal preference :)

Interesting game and I do enjoy the fact that the ghost doesn't "always" know where you are. I have found that getting a certain distance away (when it stops saying Run!) and then standing still will cause the ghost to lose track of you. Since I was cornered that made trying to come out rather interesting, and really makes the 'push' door mechanic shine as I was "peeking" out of doors to see if it was clear.

NOOOO IM SORRY TAKE THE COOKIES! XC
yeah...she won...again...this game is great and VERY creepy! i was to scared to play very far but i got 5-out of-12. also i agree with the people above the ghost is WAY to fast though. the first time i saw her i thought "WTF?! was that sonic the hedgehog?!" plus if shes slower you could make a dramatic change in the music which would make it ALOT more creepy anyway 10-out of-5

The Game is awsome, really good work!
Slender is for Kids and 13 years old LPers, but this is way to more elegant to be a slender copy.
5/5 pls make more of this

Wonderful models! Great audio! The ghost appears a bit too quickly for my taste, but that's perhaps just me. I played an hour today, several times. Do items move around a bit each time to mix up play? I like that if so. Like I thought there was a key in the first room, but then it wasn't there. Very clever if so. This is one of the nicest Unity games to come around in a while! Horror is a really tough genre, and this one is set up well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rat in basement! Sincerely, someone really went to special lengths to make a nice game for us! Thanks for really giving us a sweet game! and now.... Constructive criticism:
1) It's a big download. I'm assuming bigger than 10M. A loader screen would be good.
2) Connections to the Kongregate API. We like badges and hi scores.
3) Ability to crouch.
4) Explanation of what the eyes do. I think they are to see the enemy perspective?
Good work! 4.5/5
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it!
About the ghost, you're right, it should appear later, I will change it. All collectibles are randomized. And at last someone noticed my cute rats. ;) Download is about 30MB. I thought the default loading bar would be enough. I will think about it.
I'm going to do some basic integration with the Kongregate API and at least a short tutorial today. Ability to crouch will be added soon as well.
