Sniper is the best upgrade, hands down. He'll hit stuff off screen before it ever fires at you. Then try to max squad size, reinforcement, and speed. A couple points in health and magnet should be enough.
Enemy bullets persist for too long. It's too easy to run into a stray shot fired 10 seconds earlier. They should evaporate after a few seconds.

I like this game. I've been on Steam Greenlight and I think this could be made into a single-player (campaign based) game with updated graphics.
One thing: how do you pause the game?

u should look into changin game dinamics a bit. Instead of givin +5hp everytime u get another guy. they should be invunerable and each time you get hit, one of em dies.
Its insane to try and save em from all them bullets

how about being able to upgrade the squad like being able to take a hit and learning how to avoid getting shot in the first place.

WHy does my squad have to walk around in a line instead of a normal formation. It's like they are a snake squad or somethi... oh... nevermind. Nice game, guys. 5/5

Minigunner: Sir! we are losing men as we speak, it would be best if we move in a formation of a small circle to be close together. Leader: Nah... it's fine. RPG Soldier: Sir, enemy forces are rapidly killin- Leader: STAY IN A SNAKE FORMATION! Minigunner: ...But- Leader: NO!

A few recommended upgrades:
1) Increase your rate of fire
2) Increase your firepower (damage)
3) Increase number of bullets per shot
4) Increase combo timer
5) Increase health of soldiers
6) Decrease time between soldiers spawn
7) Ability to buy air strikes
8) Increase $ per drop
and please add a pause button. For a wave based upgrade shooter game, there has to be a pause button.

You need to make it so that either purchasing extra soldiers either makes them appear in addition to the ones you already bought, or that they must be purchased in order. That way you don't end up only buying the minigun guy because otherwise fewer of your guys will have miniguns.
It's also too tempting to leave soldiers alone until you need them. I suggest either making them go to you on their own, die when shot (possibly requiring more than one shot), or leave after a certain amount of time. Also, you should make the better ones automatically stand closer to you, so you don't avoid the bad ones because you don't want your minigun guy to stand where he can get sot.

Canon Fodder without the bullshit ambushes! Felt nice to control and visuals were just toony enough. Good sound for the weapons and deaths. Would have been nice to have more effects for your teammates, maybe have them parachute in and say a one-liner when you reach their spawn point instead of just appearing on the map.

Not bad, but the bullets should really have a maximum distance before stopping. Being faster than bullets and having to wait for them to get out of your way is very weird.

Ok two more things. Put limit how long opponent bullet flies. Either as an drop or upgrade; put like "call reinforcements" or "reinforcement drop" or w/e you'd call it. So you could use that on desperate situation where your army just ate a missile and you could nuke and parachute some emergency troops in.

Great game. Needs a pause key, and the ability to remove or sell back upgrades. Flamethrower unit is more annoying than useful.

Like it alot, needs some tweaking though, many has already said it; more upgrades, and the mouse-steering is a bit off, it tends move diagonal instead straight, but that is perhaps because the line of direction is from the middle or feet of the character and you tend to look at its head when steering, there for the character doesn't seem to move the way you intended.

Mouse is best, you can slow, stand still, move very little, sudden turnarounds, high speed. lvls 15 and up is hell like some japanese shmup game.

A really fun game.......Sadly I had a really hard time avoiding enemy fire, and that's not even taking into account my allies getting hit. Maybe it was because of the super small view or the fast bullet speed. But I think it is because the camera (and the ground map) jerks dramatically when you change direction. The inability to dodge bullets made me camp with snipers too often and altogether avoid moving fast or far away.... Again: good stuff. I especially love my minigun guys.

A rather quirky game actually. It kind of reminds me of Cannon Fodder. I think adding obstacles to the playing fields might make things more challenging, as would a variety of settings. In addition, a story/mission mode with objectives might be cool also.
As it stands, though, it's a really neat and fun game to play. I couldn't stop playing for awhile. Great game.

Not sure if it has to do with me being on a mac or not but the keyboard control refuses to work for me so I'm stuck with mouse. God I hate Macs

The problem is that I'm afraid to buy or approach any soldiers besides the minigunner. At the very least, make the more powerful soldiers move closer. It would also help if buying more allies meant they spawn in addition to the others, rather than instead. Either that or just force us to buy the earlier ones before the later ones.
