Came for BotD. Stayed because the game has a nice learning curve. Arena feedback (thumbs up/down) grants you some of your currency back. That's a nice touch.

For those trying to get the pvp badge, speak up in the chat room - there's generally someone who'll be willing to search for a match when you do, giving you an opponent :)

Guys, please do show up and say hi to others in chat if you need any help, can't help if you guys don't ask for one :))

I'm guessing Xavpig means use Aflatoxin on the enemy, kill all the cells with something like a Thunderstorm or Desiccation while a Graveyard is up, then rewind the skeletons. I see several problems with this, though: 1) You can only have up to 6 RTs/Rewinds in your deck; Eternity should also be included. 2) This method is impractical due to the amount of time needed to set it up. Fallen Druid(s) + weak creatures like Protons or Deja Vus is much faster and gives you mutants. Having Graveyards as a backup plan in case your weak creatures are killed before you can mutate them isn't a bad idea, though.

I started playing in 2010, stopped, came back 3 years later and I'm definitely hooked again. This game is simply amazing and definitely the most fun and addicting CCG I've played.

@LordOfTheSickle - An educated guess, the arena needs decks for you to play against, but fewer players are rebuilding their decks. So it's full of decks that have gone past 1 HP and become invalid.

@whade: It gets good reviews because, for the most part, it is balanced. Also, its free. Yes, there are bunches of counters to dime shield, it does not win you every game. This is the best CCG I have seen, most others are pay to win or money grabs. You aren't confined to your starter deck at all, its very possible and easy to make a deck that can grind ai3 with just selling the extras in the starters.

I disagree justjoe, I've played mtg since I was 7 or so, still do today. There are plenty of differences. One of the biggest is the limited card selection. Also the fact that the creature skills and/or passives are very different. Sure the cards have an atk and life but there are tons of ccgs like that. There are similarities but calling it a rip off is just stupid. There are plenty of unique things about this ccg and plenty of ccgs use an element based system. mtg wasn't even the first to use the element system (land cards) so by your logic mtg is a rip off. Simply not true. As far as getting 500 score, go to the silver arena with a very basic deck and you'll have it in 5 minutes. Also to have 119 wins in the game and only have 425 score.... did you even really look at the cards or did you just decide to use the starter deck.

Similar story to chubako, got the easy badge in May of 2010 and here at the end of the line for Kongregate, I finally got the Hard.

Jooe I also thought that forum was confusing in the beginning but now when i know the system I can hardly find anyway to improve it. I intended to post forum index link here but I don't have the link anymore so it will be this one instead. http://www.kongregate.com/forums/22-elements/topics/382987-elements-official-forum-info

For the first time in at least 3 years we had 5 days without any comments in a row. And people keep ask things in chat!!!

Zanzarino please come back and rescue this brilliant game you’ve created or even let us know if u have any future plans for this game! Be it positive or negative, we'd all love to hear from you.
Elements is fantastic and you will always have a handful of loyal players like me who can’t resist logging on each day to try my luck on the oracle and play a game!
Due to minimal support, I can't help notice Elements is slowly eroding away. I’ve noticed couple problems in the last few days:
After I reset my deck for Arena (Platinum league), I am rank 7 with 0 Wins- 0 Loss (strange because after a reset rank = 200). After a day, my score is 0-11 which is surprising compared to a week ago - where it is typically 7-2. My deck isn’t the best but it isn't a pushover either
Plat and Gold Arena seems to be dying out - 1st place no longer pays anything (0 gold for win)
Pls help me vote this up guys so Zanz can see this
I just feel it is such a pity for a great game like this to just disappear

Xaved sorry no such thing will be added. SImply since the developer is bussy with the next patch. However if you want to have full overview of how many cards you got use this. http://jsfiddle.net/AsLLt/18/embedded/result/
With it you can make this:

That is my card collection.

@rainlord: Ignoring any disagreements for the moment, if you even hope to get something changed, go to the forums. Heres the link. elementscommunity.org

@Harasuki- you were right, the starter deck IS crappy. Try modifying the deck or looking online for a better starter deck with your element for better chances!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Lol. For one, you can make a 99% winrate deck vs Level 3 ai within like 30 minutes of play. For 2, getting 500 score takes a few minutes in arena.

@moneyelf: Like everyone should if they are having trouble, ask for help in the chat. The quests take virtually no time at all with any decent deck.

Unfortunately, the developer no longer works on the game. Oddly enough though, when the servers crashed a couple years back, he returned to fix them.

The quest system is essentially a kind of tutorial/introduction into the game. Hint: Don't stick with the starter deck! Play around with modifying it. Once you learn how to craft a good (completely unupgraded, rareless) deck, you should be able to beat level 3s without much difficulty. Alternatively, just play bronze arena. Here's a guide on how to get started with your first deck, for those of you who are struggling with the very beginning: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/tutorials/deckbuilding-101-from-noob-to-platinum-slayer/

@Waddle - It's the import/export function in the top left (just below the "Remove All" function). Just Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to copy-paste. I use notepad to save some decks.

for over a decade now this game on this site has been at the top of my bookmarks, i don't know what it is about this game that makes me keep coming back to it but it's got it, maybe cuz it's just a simple game w/ a lot of depth or maybe nostalgia idk, but this game holds a special place in my heart

I agree with undeadify... I have played on and off for about 2-3 years, and it is still a great game. I cant find any other like it.

I think I've been playing for a second, then boom! I got addicted. It's like I'm on a real world playing different cards. ^_^

@alexander720151 You also lose when you run out of cards even if you have more than 0 HP. Perhaps that's what happened.
