I really love this game. Free + Easy = EasyFree - obviously. I'm just wondering, after defeating an opponent in bronze arena for my secong lit on it i got 527 coins? I've got EM. But the thing is, i should only get 64 coins right?

even full screen is too small, strains my eyes to look at it for even short times. Bigger screen would make this more playable

@RoxasFIN Try fighting higher level AI, or farming Arena. Level 3 AI is good way to farm gold early, and three spins a win gives a pretty decent chance of winning a card.

Whee, it takes forever to get more cards in deck. Either against computer to get 5 gold each match which isin't even guarantee, or go PvP which i refuse to do. This is fun.

@speedyblup: Steam machines aren't overpowered, and they aren't really any faster then most rushes. In fact, they are significantly slower on average. And they are very prone to control, much like most things, which hurts all the more as they waste masses of quanta on them.

Steam machine is OP. You can win easily in 5 or so turns against the overwhelming majority of decks with just them and deflagrations to take out shields.

well , there is an update in preparation , but unfortunately Zanz doesn't get time to develop it more . If I remember well , Elements started as a hobby for Zanz , am I right ?

@simonepos: If you don't like having to deal with it, pack way around it. As for the rng, that is terrible for nearly every game ever, there is no way around that. As for the coin flipping part with dusk, that is your call. If you really don't like it, you can simply not play the game, or auto quit any mono dark matches.

The reason I open this is to rely on skills, not just luck. Luck, good or bad, has to be here to bring fun and diversity. Card drawing already brings enough randomizing for my tastes. I can even appreciate the entropy element dynamics or other "weird" shields like skull or permafrost, because they have a logic, but, as I said, flipping coins stopped being fun when I was twelve. Maybe you like it. I don't, but I respect that. Maybe other people don't. It's simple as that. What I don't understand is downrating any criticism to the game, but you're free to go anyway. Peace. ;)

Never said dusk is too strong. Neither I said there's no way around it. I don't need need anything like that to prove that flipping coins to calculate the results of actions is simply bad, even for a card game. What makes it even worse is this game's random generator, some serious issues in that department.

@simonepos: Just because you think it makes it worse, doesn't mean it makes it worse. Dusk isn't even the best shield, that belongs to dime shield. 100% chance to miss > 50% chance to miss. Not to mention, because you are only likely to carry 2, maybe 3 copies of the card, the probability of drawing it isn't fantastic. Then you have all the ways around shields to. Dime shield makes the game not even pure luck, if you don't bring a counter, you lose. Dusk isn't nearly that bad in comparison.

@simonepos You were downrated because there are many cards that counter dusk shield: deflagration, shard of focus, steal, pulverizer, shard of freedom, momentum, shard of wisdom, etc. Not to mention many strategies that dont rely on creature damage, dusk shield isn't a particularly good card, and certainly does not "bring alone a whole match to rely on pure luck".

It does make the game worse and i honestly don't understand the downrating for the comment. I thought it could be constructive criticism. In my opinion, a card that can bring alone a whole match to rely on pure luck, just makes this game a lot worse. Also i'm coming to think that randomizing has some serious issues with this game.

@WebMage: I have put off way too many of the multiplayer badges on Kong, and now so many of them are not achievable. I feel your pain.

@WebMage it's still possible, click Achievements -> View highscores -> PVP victories -> Today, someone has 8 pvp victories just today, and this tracks only kongregate players, not all elements players.

Sure do wish it was possible to get the pvp badge on this =/ Apparently I decided to put it off after 4 wins at some point in 2010 or 2012.

You know this is a good game. Getting 500 score is not fun. It's stressful and time consuming. A couple bad games and I'm back down to 0. That medium badge should be hard.

@camorve .... But still mind flayer is easily killed . Mine has been killed so many times. Or there is also a trick you can use ... Play 3 or 2 creatures at once , it will only able to target one . Then you will be able to use your skill and maybe kill it with it. Myself , when there is a monster with devour or a lobo on play , I play a fallen druid and squid at the same time. If it targets my druid ... I congeal it . If it targets my octopus , I eiher create a mutant for myself or turn the enemy creature into something else ( while hoping it will be shit . Fallen druids have 100 % of chance to make a mutant ).

@camorve: The lobotomize ability is a weapon ability, so unless your opponent had cast flying weapon on their Lobotomizer, otyugh and virus wouldn't be much help against it. Regardless of this, most unique weapons are pretty good, that's kinda the point of them. Is being lobotomized any worse than being reverse timed every turn by an Eternity, or just directly killed from an Eagle Eye? Is it any worse than not being able to play things because your quantum generation is all messed up from a Discord or a Trident? Having your creatures be lobotomized isn't fun, but every Element has a unique weapon, and most of them are just as annoying to deal with as Lobotomizer.

I think the most hated ability in this game is lobotomizer, makes the game stupid: you play a virus to destroy it, lobotomized; you take an othyugh to devour it, lobotomized. You just can play using brute force

@camorve That is not a bug - just how the game works. The attacks are done sequentially. Play stops as soon as you fall below zero, even if you would have come back to positive health at the end of your turn. Likewise, if you beat an enemy by creature attacks, you will not get the elemental master gold bonus unless your health was at full before your creatures attacked (ie. permenants that heal, such as sanctuary or druids staff, are not counted if your creatures kill the enemy first)

Tiny bug: I made an enemy have -11 attack, but that turn I would still have positive health, but I was below 0 so it automatically stopped and I loost
