I'm really glad you got Minecraft (for Christmas? :D)! The new version is going great so far! Just ported over commands and fixed some bugs with endermen :3

TNT Minecart cannon: Put Powered Minecart rails on platform(Amount varies with preferred range) Then put Activator rail down at end. Add power then tnt minecart. Push minecart and it goes flying off platform at high speed. Goes over activator rail and ssssssss-BOOM

Creative mode mob trap. Put down a pressure plate. Dig a hole past bedrock on either side. Put trap doors on both sides. Walk over pressure plate, You have 2 options. Walk and die. Or stay on pressure plate forever.

Hoppers uses part 2: when Applying a red-stone signal to the hopper it will now deactivates the hopper until the signal is removed. Crafting for hoppers (hopper is not added! please add this!): 1 chest on the middle, 2 iron ingots on the top, side-by-side, 2 iron ingots on the middle, side-by-side, 1 iron ingot on the bottom, not side-by-side.

There's a chest in the bottom, you place the hopper up the chest, When you Shift-click it on the hopper, You placed a dirt. The number of dirt decreases on the hopper and on the chest, the dirt increases.) One more example: Place a chest on the ground. After that, place a hopper up the chest then place a chest on top of the hopper. Open the chest on the top of the hopper, Place dirt. It will go down on the chest (down the hopper) It will Increase the dirt. on the top of the hopper (the chest) will decrease the dirt. + if you agree to see the developer.
