if the update is 98% complete is it going to be out next month? because it was 96% complete last month and you had mention that you had not updated the % for Oct. thanks. love your game!
It's only because of school that it's taking so long. I can't predict how much homework I'll have each week :(
So the update is technically done, except for one really bad bug (and maybe a few more but I'm still looking). I made a tiny bit of progress on it this week though.
Soon, I'll try to make the update video, which is the next big step to releasing!

Continuing: I would highly recommend checking out MB's site at www.mineblocks.com, Zanz's site at www.zanzlanz.com, as well as his Twitter feed, for which there will be links on both sites. I also recommend playing MB2, and perhaps giving feedback if you feel like it. I hope I've been helpful!

@CathleenS Your request is quite relevant, actually, and I am slightly saddened it has been downvoted. I can see why the community would do so, but it is a shame nonetheless. In either case, the next one is NOT going to be 3D. It is in its alpha phase, and WILL include new features such as multiplayer in addition to the things present in MB1. There's also a pretty epic light system, and many more things to make it a fun game. Myself, I'm really looking forward to it being more developed. However, do not be disheartened: a third game IS planned, and from the shots I've seen it's going to be three dimensional. However, I am quite obliged to stress the word PLANNED; if I understand the situation properly, some tiny part (not enough to be released, by any means) has been created, but there is a LOT more to go before we, the public, get to see it.

what the hell! i found a block with a face on it while mining. i smack it with a pickaxe and it says "hello i am J." WHAT IN THE WORLD IT SCARED THE DICKENS OUT OF ME. also topaz is orange not blue

I have Minecraft myself, and I have been playing for around two years now. I just found this game and it is so much alike! You did a REALLY good job on this one! For everyone who can not afford Minecraft, but wants to experience how it is, I recommend this game, because it's pretty much the same except in 2D :D 5/5 and favorited

mineblokes is just a ripoff of minecraft all they did was find a good name make it 2d cus they cant afford unity and cant fit all the data in a crappy game then..........bam a "game"

@livvi990 Not yet, no. Actually, it's only in the planning stages, with MB2 in HEAVY alpha. But, you might want to know, MB1 is still being updated; Zanz prefers large updates. Check out the MB website for more.

Good lords. I was in a desert biome for a large amount of time, and finally went exploring. I found a forest biome higher up. It felt like I was in heaven, with APPLES and ORANGES and PIGS. Woah.
This was addressed in Mine Blocks 2 with a neat lighting engine I created. :) It would take a ton of re-coding in Mine Blocks 1 to be able to support a similar feature. I plan to do this re-coding anyway, so it might actually happen! But not for a while.

I love this dev. He's involved, active (his next update's almost done) and, most importantly, FUN. Plus, he's just damn good at what he does. A toast to Zanzlanz!

Played this two years ago, now I found it again! *Victory dance* Oh and, just a question, I saw on google search 'Mine Blocks 2'. Is that official or was that a fake? I saw many of them!
