Loved it! Graphics could use some polish (sequel please!!) and maybe some better and smoother control over the map, but other than that it was great! I remember thinking as I took down the last country, "I wish there were some kind of boss battle," then WHAM! Boss battle (kind of). Awesome. Please give us a sequel!

i think that the 6 upgrade of soldiers is: shieldknight(hp and defence of the shieldman and the atack of the knight) and ranged is bazooka(slow fire ,great damage)
and for the plessing upgrade i thinked of skeletionise(turns enemies into skeletions) and uber shield(all ur soldiers defence dobbles)(half damage on them)

good to see that this game is come up on the ratings.. yesterday it was surprisingly underrated. though it has many flows.. still a pretty good game. 4/5

My personal fav combo to beat the boss army, Is Samurai, Snipers, And the 'freeze' spell, and the 'Revive 60%' spell, Both spells /tactics give you a decent amount of greatness, It would be nice however if the AI was tougher, and if more troops could be placed on cities/ troops that only certain prefectures can make, {Not all prefectures can get this maybe, Only the main ones from Japan, Tokeyo, Kyoto ect... } But this game is godly, and I hope it wins some epic prizes!

i see what you are saying......maybe that needs fixing....best way to solve that problem is to have two attacking lines.....make one handle the defenders and the other one handle the enemy attackers......enemy defenders are programmed to cause a lot of annoyance..

you can add soldiers to any territories after you attack if you have enough money.....if you find the game difficult, start with Hokkaido...the most northern island.

Ive tried this and the attacking computer walks through my defense to attack my mages. My soldiers (even if put on hold and pulled over to their mages) will keep facing the defenders for no reason.

actually if you learn how to switch off effectively between "hold" mode and "will" mode....this will not be a problem. Control your lines effectively and switch to will mode at the right timing......this was done on purpose to add a element of skill during combat.

Okay So If they attack with Defenders, my army will auto target them regardless of what I say causing me to get picked off meanwhile the attacking army will auto target anything but Defenders, causing me to get crushed. Fix this

For some reason I really like this game but it's stupidly difficult. When you conquer a place it leave your last place ripe for the pillaging which is a tad unfair. Plus everyone else seems to manage to build an army far quicker than you can.

I'm forced to give a very rare 5\5 since.. this game got me hooked till I didnt even noticed the hours go by. Just had to finish it. Great job.

The Ninja-Rush tactic also seems really powerful. Since most enemy armies are made up of basic units, a prefecture full of Ninja with Attack-Up will clear them out with 0-1 casualties.

Controls could use some work (asdw for map movement), but overall a fun game. Bonus for adding content beyond what the user expects. But minus for not having a proper final ending. Gunma empire ftw.

nice concept, just too easy, can't wait version 2, nice work ZigZaGame, some building and units kinda useless, need to balance it a little bit. Samurai is too cheap, Sniper don't even have a chance vs Samurai, but have same price.

I also noticed the Green Giants would sometimes barely move in combat ...not sure if that was by design or a bug. Great game all around.

really like the idea of this game.. even the balance seems to be ok. where I see some improvement would be more needed is stability (it crashed for me two times under 10 minutes) and ui handling.

good points...but if you consider getting conquered by the enemy....limiting labs does not work out too well....and if we allow prefecture upgrade changes....the game might become too easy....still good points and i will consider it..thanks

Awesome game! Only thing I'd change besides a bit of balancing issues is the way you can place soldier and strategy labs even when your fully upgraded. Maybe the ability to remove/change prefecture upgrades would be a good idea.

during combat, click on the hold icon...it will change to will.....and you should be able to attack the middle enemy......i can not believe someone has actually played the japanese version! thanks! where is this tutorial? I want to take a look at it too!

Combat is odd... Why can I not attack one little dude in the middle row... had like 7 more troops than them and just lost because I couldn't attack one single defender.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The objective is to invade all enemy prefectures....also.....after you invade all prefectures....new enemy might come attack you......
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good points. While we like how the difficulty changes depending on which prefecture you start with, I can see how the AI needs some tweaking. Thanks for your constructive feedback. We will definitely work on the AI.

The idea is just brilliant. However, the realisation is plagued by some severe problems:
a) balance doesnt live there. Like, some units are ultimate (like knight), some are surprisingly useless (ninja). Upgrading units still rock, but upgrading magic (errmmm TACTICS) - sucks bigtime, even when the game suggests the one is balanced with the other.
2) the map needs more work. Like ,the Hokkaido province is too easy, and some ( in the mid of a map) are plain impossible because even if you win one way, there are 3 more ways with full armies to pwn your ass.
3) AI is a catastrophe. Sometimes he just siths there doign nothign when there's a land ready for taking right near him. Sometimes he goes on suicides for no apparent reasons. Plain awful.
I still love the idea, with proper amount of diligence it could be a great game.
