you need to plan ahead of time before conquering japan. Make sure that you have vast armies of samurai, as they're the only ones who can stand up to the virus... As well as making sure that all of the good terrain is in your favor.

How to win 2 fast : in tyhe first day attack a prefecture that not have pass a turn yet! Ex.: You are Fukui, attack Shiga and use Helios to have a chance to vanquish their lands in the first day!

I find Niigata to be the best pref to start from. Their goldmine plus easy-to-instamurder neighbors leads to an early advantage, albeit a time with very small amounts of men defending your prefs (although the AI will usually ignore them if you have 4 strategy levels or so).

Because of this game, I know that if I ever were to invade Japan, I should start with Amori. This regions ability to summon skeletons, and join them in their army, aswell as taking the first turn in the great round-robin called war.

And there is a way to stop the line movement... CLICK THE BUTTON... where it says hold. click it and it will make them attack the nearest target.

definitely tried my patience at the end, waiting for all of my areas to fill up with giants. if you do updates in the future/ a sequel, make the spawn time reduced? 10 days perhaps?

The troop movement is terrible... my 4 knights just stand around in the same column as that one archer, letting themselves get shot?

the lags are inasne the worst optimized game i've ever seen. come on the graphics is not that good (it's not even graphics XD) to lag like that. But when i go to my computer and the lags are gone i give 5/5

REALLY enjoy this game. The mini map can be a pain to scroll around, it is a small click box. Other than that, big upsss

While growing up I used to play this game ALL the time and because I was little and knew NOTHING about how to use strategy I would always lose. I came back to this game and spent what felt like a lifetime on it to find a really great ending to it, great game I would play the sequel in a heartbeat!

Just some suggestions for an update or sequel: allow diagonal attacking (from Iwate to Yamagata, e.g.), PLEASE allow scrolling with the arrow keys, or at least click-and-drag around the map (not just the mini-map), maybe re-name the strategies after Shinto deities (literally thousands to choose from), and maybe allow us to change fortresses for a price? The cannons I installed in turn 3 aren't doing me any good in turn 30. All that aside, I loved the combination of large scale territorial acquisition and army composition match-up strategy. Good job.

Enemies are too OP, my army cant stop one green giant when a couple of archers destroys mine in an instant! So many thing wrong with this game I cant stand to play it anymore

You don't actually need to wait for giants. I found that going with all knights worked fine. Wave 1 kills most of the little guys. Wave 2 kills the boss.

LOL, playing Okinawa, got to top notch military, got that perfect combination enough for 1 army, now i have 1 province at the tip, with a castle standing against the whole of japan. Have barely lost a single soldier...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Starting 2nd at the top makes this game quite easy, get a cannon in your main province, take the top province, then continue downwards focusing on soldiers. 5 medics, 10 snipers and 10 swordsmen make an awesome army, using the freeze powerup. Building magnets all along the way.

Also, the best tactic for the final boss which appears after you defeat every prefecture is to mix Green Giants with Medics and Snipers. It's really useful!

@Ilnorita you have to double click the button during the battle then double click the button for the strategy you want.

My annoyance, the games will decide that my strategies don't activate, resulting in my rapid defeat at the hands of my foe who DID revive 60% of his troops

Wow; I'm really bad at this game xD I captured half of the island after an hour or two but got beaten back because the other prefecture had samurai before I got it...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
easy way to win the islands is to make2 of them defensive with ALL 3 islands samurai and 1 island with the covering fire cannon. good luck

???...? this is weird. i discovered the new isles, and thats killing me! i did everything easy and then the isles came and i died
