AI turtles way too hard and guards + knights works way too well. 5 star units feel like they don't make the impact they need to make and the AI operates/attacks smarter than player minions on "WILL." Not hard to defend or take territory to start, but very frustrating when it turns into a standoff indefinitely.

That last army feels like a troll move. They just have those emoticon faces and repeatedly attack. Plus the raining ones and the range ones. Tough final boss.

Only ever use warriors, knights and samurai. Never any other fighters (except use the graveyard for early boost to army # on first territory)

you will easily beat all enemies including the armies of aliens with nothing but multiple armies of samurai, for the territories the aliens will attack + the alien territories you conquer build cannons, and you will easily win

Keys To Beating Aliens
1.AT LEAST 5 giants, and a armada of snipers
2. backups: always have a backup army to defend your territory, try to follow the 1st step, and you should be fine incase of breach.
3. (Optional) Money : Wait until your enemy has only one countrys worth of land left, than have an army to defend the point that is closest to enemy country. skip as many days as you like until you have the riches you seek, it might come in handy, after all.
(I Found these steps the easiest to winning the game)

@stygiansergeant unbalanced and too hard? i always play the game with only the base unit and no province improvements and i awlaays win O_O

Shogun: KILL THOSE NEW INVADERs THAT HAVE SET... whatever they using to walk ON JAPAN!
Samurai Army: YES! CHAAARGE!
And so the Shogun's army have been victorious! Again...

1/5 stars every time. Even if I use the most powerful prefecture, I lose to the CPU REALLY quickly every time. And no, it's not cause of bad strategy. I am good at strategy games. This one is just horribly unbalanced.

Now that was a really cool game been a long time since a game was that much fun.5/5 If you make another can you give us more countries to invade or play as with there own strengths and weaknesses ?

I kept fortifying the spots I conquered while the enemies attacked the other enemies, it led to where I had kick-ass soldiers and they had weak shitty troops. Works a lot!

Start at the very top and slowly work down. After a while they just cant attack you any more. All you need is 4-5 armies of samurais. Then if a square is exposed you have enough money to just buy a new army right there.
