I'm always losing because my skeletons are targeting the defenders instead of anyone else first.. If we could make it so we can choose who the units attack, that would help a lot.

Fastest way to victory is the skeleton flooding strategy starting from the country in center, which gives 3 Skeletons every turn.
First turn build.
Round 2. Attack weak neighbour with all troops. Build one big army. Forget about defending. Your army is strong enough to retake everything.
Round 3: your first army is full, conquer evry round a land and build more skeletons. Spend your money on archers
Round 4: your second army is big enough to attack. As soon you have to full armies, send them off to both sides of the map. Dont worry about being cut off from your main land. New troops will do the clean up. Keep rushing forward, unless its a clear defeat. If faced a stronger armie, build one upgrade. Thats enough to beat all armies.
Round thirteen, stop building skeletons and build ogers.
Round 16: Move ogers to the lands, where the aliens attack. Keep saving money. You want around 6000 cash, when they arrive, which can be allready round 17, if you are fast

Decided to up the difficulty by not letting myself buy units. started in area making skeletons and take nearby areas that made units. graveyards everywhere. won't hold up for long as other units get better. Next move take areas before turn 15 and put giant mag fields in them. get giants, kill the weak. make more mag fields. use skeletons as fodder. AI doesn't like attacking full regions. build up an army of giants. 8 giants should be able to take down any region. from here it's simply expand and make mag fields. Works great until the end. forgot about that. most regions had no defense due to my rule therefore most got taken by end enemy. enemy could take more regions in a turn than i could due to me only having 1-2 decent armies. got back into 1 region with all my forces. got chipped away until my army was gone. probably would have worked if before killing last enemy i just ended turn a lot of times to build up more giants in each region.

Samurais beat Everything. Green Giants appear every 15 Days FROM START. Nearing full conquest, keep max power Armies on Hokkaido, Nagasaki and Ishikawa.

wtf I got attacked by the same guy twice in a row (same zone not different zone the second time) then I got attacked again by a different guy in my only remaining area and everything advances about 5x faster than me. I'm bad at this.

Won as Aomori, just after you get all abilities and troops, grind giants (keep 1 area alive) and put them on Hokkaido, Ishikawa and Nagasaki. Ability speed on them and you win!

Why do people seem to have such a bad time with the game ? I tried playing with kagoshima and won the whole thing in the first try.even the virus empires were a piece of cake

protip: the alien things will attack nagasaki, ishikawa, and hokkaido. i suggest filling those 3 up with giants and a few medics, giants will pwn the alein things, even the boss.

I somehow make it over and over again and fail to take the last of the mysterious islands. Then they take my land and I give up again

YES! I FINALLY BEAT ALL THE PREFECTURES AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! *Mysterious islands rise from the sea* FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I beat the game in about 70-80 days. My strategy on the last bit was form a regiment of all green giants called " The Veggie Giants " and then weaken the enemy with two attacks of samurai and medics, one army had snipers, and then attack with the giants with a speed buff to kill off all the bosses help ( Including ranged ) and then overwhelm the boss.

It's really annoying how weak unidentified organisms raining from the sky keep you from having killed every enemy and can therefore course your timer to run out.
