Man I love this game, I have not played it since 2010 and I forgot the name of this game. Hope you guys make a part two, its one of my favorite all time browser games. My favorite troop is the ninja, hes not that powerful but a good protector for the range attackers since they move at blazing speed.

Epic game, Played for 3 hours to win... Nice with the ??? ending guys.
One thing though... FOR 3 HOURS OF PLAYING ALL IT SAYS WHEN I WIN IS CONGRADULATIONS?!??!?!
Other than that epic. [+] If anyone agrees.

Needs some difficulty settings. You can get samurais with the first 5 places you conquer then just keep it rolling. Enemies don't always attack empty squares.

played this game years ago, and I decided to pkay again, still awesome!
maybe on the next one (if they make another) their should be a larger choice in troops, maybe make a unique troop for each faction that you unlock when you take over, and maybe an alliance system? still rate it 5 anyways! awesome game

1.choose houkkaido, cover fire 2.only buy gladiator ,on day 2 strike aomori, kill the archer first then try not fight with skeleton/gladiator,choose cannon. 3.when you get yamagata and miyagi ,buy only ninja, and when u get 4*25 ninjas u can wipe out the japan 4.for alien, the use samurai to capture outer island, when u conquered all 3 outer island, use 2 groups of samurais to wipe out the weakers and 1 groups of sniper to kill the boss

great game but there seems to be a lot of time confusion about when it happens considering the best army is made of knights and snipers

@JohnSmithBSc, It's a little confusing, but hold is manual in the sense that you determine where your men walk instead of them automatically seeking out targets.

For the first few plays this seemed dreadful. The computer players seemed to always win every battle, no matter how much bigger your armies were. It was a while before I worked out that in a battle, you have to actually tell your army to attack (never mind the help page that says attack is automatic and hold is manual, the opposite is true), otherwise your armies will stand there like a dead fish waiting to be slaughtered. You have to press 'hold' when the battle starts, which is what makes your armies NOT hold, but attack!

This is a great game. A little too easy though.. they should've had options for easy, medium and hard. Also "goldmine", which says "prefecture revenue 1.5X" is only 1.4X... whats up with that?? lol

I have just 2 problems with this game so far. Later on in the game, if you zoom out to get an overview, you can't see individual armies and if you zoom in to see individual armies, you can only see a few provinces. armies need to be bigger, or provinces smaller. Also, gaia is a titan.
