"Here is the Fruit of Youth. With it, you will not lose Endurance, but do you really want it?" Well, I guess it would ruin 1/2 of this game's point so... HECK YEAH!!!!

10/10 Great game. Good job Zillix. Very simple but it hits some strong marks. I might consider it an art game, but it is fun to play and has a cool story. I went to the game for a badge to see that I had already earned it by playing earlier. Hearing the music and then seeing the game reminded me of the game, immediately was hit by the feels. This game will produce the feels. Cool game.

Dude, i got all the gems without knowing i got ALL of them, got the zap crap, killed 10 people, forgot where the secret guy with the 10 soul deal thing was so i just climbed the mountain, got the sword, then the evil guy got out and i didnt get to fight him cause i had gotten all the gems :( anyways 1000/1000 definitely. And i like the Shadow of the Colossus style of game/ending/story crap thing in this awesomesauce game :)

Shouldn't the people who hid the sword away just used it themselves to kill the evil god? Or at least left their warning about him somewhere people could actually see? No they had to hide both somewhere no one could reach. Thanks guys.

I love how you never actually die. You just spend like two seconds down with a gray screen and get back up again healthy as ever. Wonderful anti-frustration feature.

Well maybe if everyone in Dwarfland weren't a jerk to me I wouldn't have released the ancient evil. I think this is their own fault and I regret nothing.

go jump off a cliff.
Apparently he wasn't just being a jerk, I literally had to jump off the cliff to advance.
lol. 5/5 for old school.

The reason the ancestors couldn't kill the deity probably was that they couldn't survive falls from terminal velocity like this fellow. That's the only thing I could come up with.

ah! such an awesome game just HAD to come out at the same time as my new game. :p lol, regardless, excellent work all around. a solid 5/5 from me!

"Yes! I have FINALLY made it to the chest!" *opens chest* "WARNING: DO NOT HELP THE GUY YOU'VE BEEN HELPING THIS WHOLE TIME; HE IS EVIL." *Earth quake rumbles* "Umm..... Well atleast thats a better chance of a sequel.... Right?"

Man, I can't believe it's been almost 8 years since I first played this. I would love to see an Endeavor 2. This is absolutely one of my top 3 favorite games on Kongregate.

Also, If you wanna go ahead and make another game in this series, hell, just even in this vein, on the same epic scale, with the same ingenuity, I would love that. You've got a real talent for this.

tungsteno, and anyone else who liked the music and game: another one you may like is The Grey Rainbow. It's a point and click game, but NOT a pixel hunt, and the title screen music is pretty neat like this one. Graphics are crayon-drawn but has a really nice story, so the simple-but-fulfilling aspect is much like this game.

I do kind of wish I didn't have to restart the whole thing to get a new ending. After already sealing the bad ending, I looked around and explored everything. I found the forever youthful powerup after a lot of frustrating climbing, and I can't help but imagine how useful it would be if I hadn't already doomed myself.

Little tip: When swimming, if you want to go up faster, don't hold Up arrow, water will take you up automatically, faster than holding the Up arrow ;)

I killed 12 innocent people. I got blood on my hands. I nearly released a destroyer of worlds. was it worth it. No. I don' know if my ending was bad or good, but what I do know, is that I am a monster.

This is one of those games I come back to every few months just to replay. It more than earned its spot in my favourites. Captured my imagination when I was 12 and even now, six years later, there's still something about it... Wish I could play it again for the first time.

Why do people call me the fallen one? I mean I knew that I fell, but I have a name you know..... But I don't know what my name is....

Was anyone else really disappointed that the arctic cat thing had no role in the game? After I got the sword at the end I still backtracked east and west to see if there was more to do because I WANTED TO SAY HI TO IT.

Great game. When the npc was like " you don't look like a demon..." i was like 'OH SHIT' but i helped the deity anyways...

Hey, I love a game with options. There is so many different directions to take and ways to go and what to do, it feels like you really are taking your own path. Too many games have the storyline laid out for you. And plus, its just fun to play. :)

You come to Kong thinking "I'm not lame for playing online games, I'm still manly enough" and then you open a game, and see a "150 flowers touched" badge

"I know a secret..." "Oh, sweet!" "I'll only tell you if you kill 10 creatures and bring me their souls." "Oh, right. The standard currency in secret trading."

@PurpleMelon: The "Fruit of Youth" isn't anything to do with another ending. Nor does it return you to a young weakling like the NPC next to it seems to suggest. What it DOES is give you endless stamina. Which, while not mattering much by the time you can actually get it, is still very nice.
