first line as long as first number defines, then 45° clockwise and next line sqrt(2) * as long as second number defines (diagonals are all sqrt(2) * number because of how you draw it by hand on squared paper). It continues like that always 45° clockwise for each line and next number, starts from beginning over again until it hits the beginning (when length * loops is a multiple of 8 [(length * loops) % 8 = 0])
