The turning needs a little work. It reminds me of a racing game I played as a kid. Its nice, but it needs a little more. Like option to upgrade choose your vehicle what type of race and where. Also other racers or at least a timer.

Firstly, thanks for putting it together.
As others have said, this is a start. It works, it's smooth, but it needs more to be an engaging game. How about a 'ghost' of your best lap so you've something to race against? You needn't factor in collisions, AI etc for that...
