You've seen this style of game before - I'm just a poor beginner trying to learn how to make games.
This is pretty much a work in progress, don't expect much out of this one.

I really liked this game, but it needs more explanations; it took me a long time to realize two things: 1. Dying doesn't restart me 2. The game doesn't end until I end it because when I die, the shop pops up and suddenly I'm alive again. I said I really liked it. I did. It was fun, not horribly addicting, but still something I could've kept going with, and it was easy going. I wish (as Nova said) there had been another kind of enemy, plus it would have been nice to be able to upgrade the ship in some way or somehow die eventually.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I just added two more enemies (not much variety yet though). The next thing I'll work on is making it easier to understand

I feel so honored to be the first comment. Getting the top comment has been a dream of mine for many years. First and foremost I would like to thank god for giving me this opportunity. Next I would like to thank my parents. This moment will be a moment that I will never forget. I just remembered a few other people I would like to thank; the fish I caught in the third grade, my light in my room bc I wouldnโt be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me go on Facebook, my house because without it I would be homeless, and last but not least I would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this. I have been trying to be the first comment on a post for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. just a thought but maby you should try adding levels and different enemies because i found my self waiting for a new shape/enemy to appear i hope you have read my ideas and use them
Yeah, your feedback is definitely useful. I've added a couple more enemies (still squares though), and I plan on eventually adding more. I think having levels might be a long(er) term goal than adding more enemies. Thanks for the response
