I would like to inform you guys, your feedback about the badges has been heard, thanks for calling this out!
We decided to retire the badges that could only be earned within the premium version of the game. Sorry they were not up to your expectations.
And as a thank you for playing, I have extended the free part of the game. So now you can play also mission 8 for free. Additionally, a new badge for that mission is added (hard mode), along with another one, to replace the old ones. Hope you enjoy it!
Due to licensing contracts with my publisher, this game cannot be available for free or without in-game advertising, therefore Kongregate and I offer Deck Adventures-origins for a small payment. I’m afraid it was that or nothing :-(
Anyway, thanks again for trying out the game, I’ve been working hard to improve it since the previous versions, which started to be forged on Kongregate a few years ago.

Tutorial isn't letting me passed the discard portion. The text pop up has glitched outside of the screen and I can't interact with the cards.

Oh, the text is gliched! Thank you, I will fix it. But that should not be a problem to discard the card. You have to drag a card and drop it on the discard deck, following the yellow arrow. Maybe it's not explained well...

I agree with other commenters, no badges should require monetary purchase. I've noticed people complaining on other games that badges require premium purchases, even when no purchase was necessary for the badges. There is an actual money block in this one. Mission 8 and on require 65 kreds.

Thanks Bocox! We're working with devs to improve the badges. We've retired the former medium, hard and impossible badges. If we add new badges to replace them they will be created to make sure that all Kong users have a chance to earn them.

I think it's really good that the new Badgemaster (ArbiterRex) listened to feedback on this game, and not only removed the badges that required you to pay money, but updated the game with new ones. This and updating the requirement for the impossible badge in "Please Don't Eat Me" to being more reasonable gives me hope for this new era of Kongregate.

The BotD is only given in Easy mode. If you played Hard mode to a higher level: Exit game to mainscreen, start easy run, select option to start from highest level of hard mode done, exit to mainscreen again, get the Badges.
Continue to finish Hard mode for more fun gameplay :)

Tip to beat level 8 on hard: Never attack the 2 turtles, just keep defending and timing your retaliate cards to when the 1 you want to kill first attacks. Have the steal shield card prepared for this and you'll never take damage. For the final tree boss, bleed him whenever you can get a hit in and it'll stack over time. Build your shield the rest of the time and save your weaken card for his big attacks so they barely get through your shield.
