I like the art as well. I don't know if I should rate this or how to :/ since it seems like a work in progress. I hope you can add some color to it as well.

The art's really nice -- but as Rivermonster observed, there doesn't seem to be anything to shoot at! And the bolts that you shoot are really ugly. Last -- there don't seem to be limits on movement. You can keep going down, up, etc while you're off the screen.
If the art's yours, nice job. But one way or another the game needs a LOT of work.
