Well, what to say... For a first game, it's alright. It's definatly the shootorial, but your background is really cool. However, it dosent scroll right. If you want it to look a bit smoother, have it loop on a large blue patch. The powerups weren't original(Straight from the tutorial), but it isn't too hard to come up with your own by tweeking code, or asking someone on the forums here. Some sound(Original) would also be nice. Other then that, good show... Now show us what else you learned and spark that creativity!

Wow, you just the shooter trotial (CAN'T SPELL IT) and gave it a different paint job, and a different boss, and it's your second game. Live it up a little.
