Maybe actually making Double Jumping possible in this game would help?

It doesn't seem to be possible to jump over two boxes that are right beside each other, which is something the game comes up with pretty often.

What you need to do is tune the acceleration due to gravity to be quite a bit higher, and then obviously increase jump velocity to compensate. The long lag on the drift back down makes precision jumps impossible.

might be better if you code it such that jumps are a lot more flexible. Like having variable jump height depending on how long you hold down the jump key, and maybe add a drop key for dropping down really fast so you can jump over the next hurdle if its an a weird distance. At the moment the jumps are really horrible in the sense that more than 50% of your jump duration is still within hit range of a box, so in some sense half the time you can't avoid any boxes you meet. Need to make it so that when you jump you rise up much quicker and drop much quicker as well.

The blocks are often spaced too horribly by the RNG, even if you have two players you can't get far because they are impossible to jump through.
