I'm not sure which intrigues me more - the one way doors, or the fact that I can apparently just ignore all the dust and still get told I successfully cleaned every room?

thanks. i am learning new stuff each time I work on the game. I thought the dustpan and score adds some interest, but I gotta find a way to not exit rooms until all the room is clean.

This game makes me think of pong. I don't know much about programming. But based on the Stencyl tutorials, I think you need to make an if statement for the end of the game message. But I'm not sure how you would connect that with the dust.
