The adventure

Just a few things to tweak in my opinion. You can't jump while standing on lasers, but I guess it's not too bad. I like that they can travel a bit after hitting the ground. :D Level balance is good and they're not frustrating to do all over if you die. You could probably classify this as a "five minute" game. There could be a bit of backstory/objective. You could add: objects to find for each level or for some purpose. If you wanted to really expand this, you could add more levels that increase in difficulty along with upgrades from NPCs that make your weapon better with a possible weapon change. If more difficulty, then a good thing to add would be hearts for hit points and recovery hearts in the field. You could expand quite a bit, although, it's decent enough as the short game it is. The only real downside is the final boss is way too easy. You just stand and rapidly hit spacebar and step back a time or two to avoid ghosts and he dies kind of quick without doing anything or moving.
