pretty nice game
as a small club chess player, I see notice that all it does is help you improve your awareness of the locations the enemy's pieces cover.
maybe you could create bishop/queen/king difficulty levels which have some more focus on the tactical aspect of the game, I.E. placing your pieces so that you attack both the queen and the rook of your opponent, or where you place a rook where it is attacked by the enemy queen, but defended by your bishop... etc, there are endless possibilities in chess, use them :)

4/5 great game, just a little too long! Where does it end?!? I am at board 60 and it is still going!
