Oooh, I'm liking this...
I recommend you change maxed upgrades to go green instead of grey as the grey isn't very distinct... Also, a mute button pleeeeease. And the music doesn't loop D=

Yeah, the game seems to spike resource needs on dying, made my browser hang for a bit. Hit wave 70 though... You could play with red/green coloration on the buttons for different states, perhaps have it go red if you can't afford it and green when bought... And could the cost to upgrade be shown when selected, not just when hovering over the upgrade button. Speed up and pause need to be separate buttons or a slider graphic, I didn't realise it had a pause until like level 25 xD
